Lionstar emerged from his den with the opinions of all his clanmates.
"It has been spoken. Foxpelt has been suspected as the murderer."
Gasps came from everywhere throughout the camp. "Why him?" Whitepelt yowled. She bounded over to the ginger cat and tried to comfort him.
Leopardpaw, Cloudbelly and Lionstar gave him suspicious looks, while Whitekit, Brownnose and Angeltail tried to shoo away the accusers.
"This is a serious accusation. We will vote. Tell me if you think he is innocent or guilty, and then we will decide whether or not to send him away."
Foxpelt looked down, then with a pleading yowl he exclaimed "Please let me stay! I'm not who you think I am!"
