Whitestar took in a deep breath. Clawstrike was the accused cat and he was voted guilty, {9;5}. Padding up to the highrock, she flicked her tail for silence.
"Quiet! Cats of BrightClan. Our accused cat was Clawstrike. He has been voted..." She paused. His gray, pleading eyes stared up at hers. She had voted him innocent. But she had not won.
"... guilty." He immediately looked down. Whitestar saw the group separate. Tigerspot, Thorntail, Windkit and Skykit were defending him, while everyone else was attacking him.
"Stop! We will escort him to the border and out of clan territory. If anyone finds him again, you have the right to drive him out or kill him." Whitestar mewed sternly.
"Lightspots and Thorntail, take him out if the territory." The two toms nodded and pressed up against the gray tom so he wouldn't escape and led him through the undergrowth. The clan was at peace. For now.
Clawstrike was voted guilty. But he was innocent. Watch out, BrightClan.
