Foxstar padded forwards, his daughter's white and tabby pelt pressing against him, full of grief. He whispered in her ear "Whitetail... Are you sure she is the one?" But she just hung her head lower. "I'm not really sure.. but if it was I will murder her because she killed my mate." Her face now was full of rage and frustration.
"Cats of BrightClan!" Foxstar yowled from the highrock, his daughter still beside him. "Our deputy has accused Zebranose of murder." Almost immediately gasps came from the crowd.
"Whitetail!? Why me!? I have kits to care for, why would I kill someone else? What's gotten into you!?" Zebranose screeched, her kits squealing beside her. Tigerspot leaped to her defense.
"My mate would never murder a cat! Why?! What has she ever done!?" He yowled, but Whitetail just hung her head even lower. "I'm sorry.. but I had to make a decision.. that decision was you.." She murmured. Foxstar reassured her by licking her ear.
"I promise you, BrightClan! I did not kill a cat! Please believe me!" Zebranose yowled. Her kits squeaked "No! Mom please! Don't die!" and sounded full of grief. But Tigerspot no longer said anything, just sat still, eyes full of grief.
