Lilia sat up on her bed with her vape pen in one hand and a pencil in the other as she was working on homework. She always did everything in her room because she liked to be alone and she was working on rediscovering herself after a long and unhealthy relationship that she ended.

A knock on her door stopped her from writing and she sat her pencil down that she painted with black nail polish. She painted almost everything she owned black when she was about twelve, says it's a way of expressing her inner emotions. "Come in." She said back to the knocker before the door crept open and a pretty brunette walked in. "I wanna talk to you about something in private." Millie spoke.

The blonde nods and gestures for her friend to shut the door. She did so before walking across the floor to sit on the edge of her bed. Lilia shut her books and placed them down on her nightstand before directing her attention towards Millie. "Maddie told me something today, it really upset her." The girl fiddled with her fingers as she tried to finish her sentence. "She thinks that you broke up with her for Jaeden Liberher. She says that you two became very close within the past couple of months and she knows that you guys have the same interests and-"

"Millie I broke up with her for my own mental health, okay? Just because I have a few cigarettes with Jaeden doesn't mean I wanna date him. I mean he's cute and yeah we like the same things, but I just really wanna be alone with myself before I even think about asking him out." Lilia explains, annoyed that nobody really understands her reasoning for breaking up with her girlfriend. Sure she had feelings for Jaeden, but she didn't think she was ready to just hop out of one relationship and into another. Besides it's not like she's got a big crush on him.

The brunette tilts her head with a raise of her left eyebrow. Millie had a feeling that her friend liked someone else, but she wasn't quite sure what the next step for her was. "Millie you don't even understand dating, so why are you so concerned about what I do or what she does or he does? You've never even held a boys hand." Lilia snapped in frustration. She had a point, but the reason why Millie was concerned was because she was interested and wanted to learn from her peers. This doesn't exactly mean she was ready to date.

"Because I wanna know all the hot gossip from my badass little sister." Millie coos as she crawls up beside the blonde and wraps her arms around her with a small grin. The goth girl rolled her green eyes as she wasn't very affectionate. "We're not sisters and even if we were I still wouldn't tell you about all my drama. Also I'd be the older sister because I was here before you." Millie pouts and cuddles closer. "But we were practically raised together by the same person and I wanna be the older sister because I'm taller." Lilia scoffed.

The door flew open and a redhead comes running in and jumps on the bed to lay on the other side of Lilia with a giggle. Millie grins and extends her arm to wrap it around both girls. "So I was just in my room watering my plants and collecting herbs and then I started to think that maybe Sadie McLaughlin would sound much better than Sink. Doesn't that just sound beautiful? It sounds like a singer's name!" She asks followed by a chuckle.

"Jesus you're more gassed up than an SUV on a road trip." Lilia stated, referring to how high Sadie was. She was too happy to let the blonde's comment bother her, for not only was she stoned but also way too happy about her boyfriend. It's all she's been thinking about and talking about all day. "I'm sorry I like plants. They understand me better than anybody in this world and they have tons of benefits."

Millie grins and rests her head on top of Lilia's shoulder. The girl that was sandwiched between them was resisting the urge to just kick them off the bed or even bring flames to her skin so they would jump off of her from the heat. "Isn't it great how one relationship ends and another begins? It's like the circle of life." Millie had spoken. The two other girls were thinking the same thing together, what about Millie?

"Millie what about you? What's your love life like right now?" Sadie built up the courage to ask. What love life? Millie doesn't have one at all, she doesn't love anybody. She loves her friends and her supreme, unconditionally. "I don't know. I don't really have a love life. I mean I don't even talk to guys, I'm more focused on my education and my family." Lilia plays with the tips of Millie's fingers as a small smile came to her face. Sadie noticed and gasped, as the blonde rarely shows positive emotions.

"Lilia, you smiled!" She exclaims as she sat up and sort of stood on her knees on the bed. Lilia put her head down as she now smiles even bigger, cursing herself for doing so. Millie chuckles and awes and the two other girls tease the blonde and try to make her laugh. Sadie was tickling her as Millie was making funny noises in her ear. Lilia finally threw her head back and let out a laugh as the other girls huddled up and laugh with her.

Meanwhile a boy who was on his way downstairs has passed by the room and stopped right outside to look in and see three giggling girls. He smiles a little before Millie came down from her fit and noticed him. His grin was removed as a now very salty Millie got up to shut the door in his face. He just stood out there with his head down before continuing his journey downstairs.

"What was that?" Lilia quizzed the brunette who was getting back in bed with the others. She shrugged with a satisfied smile. "It was nothing." She answers. The girls just sat there for a moment looking back and forth between each other before quietly snickering again.
