"Can you believe Noni let that bastard into our home? Should we have even left them home alone? I mean his family is known for killing supremes in their forties." The blonde rants as she carries her lunch tray with Sadie by her side. The young blue eyed girl shrugs as she didn't really mind Finn joining the coven. Sadie thought differently from her fellow witches, she didn't see Finn as evil or bad. She knows that you can't blame people for things they haven't done. "Should we even be talking about this right now? There are people all around us with their ears open." The red head whispers to her friend.
Lilia rolled her eyes before sitting down at an empty table along with Sadie. "It's not like I'm screaming it or anything." She reasons before grabbing her spork off her tray and poking at the school's lasagna. Sadie reached her hand beneath the table before flicking her wrist and causing an apple to appear in her hand. She never ate school lunches, mostly because everything they served contained meat or something that came from an animal, but also because she knows most of it is processed and she had the power to make fresh vegetables and fruits appear in the palm of her hand.
Lilia on the other hand ate school lunches every day because she really didn't care and she secretly loved meat. The girls don't eat meat at home for multiple reasons. One being that they grow everything they eat in their greenhouse and you can't grow animals, so they're pretty much vegan and substitute things like butter, milk and eggs with stuff like vegetable oil, water and bananas.
They could hunt animals that wander around their home, but that plays into their second reasoning, which is Sadie doesn't like that idea. As a witch of nature who can speak to animals, she thinks it's wrong to kill them when they've done absolutely nothing wrong. So they all made a sacrifice to never eat meat or anything from an animal ever again.
"Where the hell is Millie? She better not be talking to Maddie or else I'll set that bitch on fire." The blonde goth said after swallowing her food. Sadie shrugged as she took a bite from her apple. "Do you think Millie likes Maddie? I mean she was kind of jealous when you started going out with Maddie. Maybe she's happy about the break up because she's got a chance to get with her." Sadie theorized. Lilia scrunched her brows together before shaking her head. "She can't, Maddie is a monster. I'd rather her go out with Finn then-...wait no, I take that back."
The red head rolled her eyes. She was tired of Lilia bitching about the new coven member. All he wants to do is know how to do at least half the things they can do. "Okay I got one. I'd rather Millie go out with Maddie's little sister than Maddie herself." Lilia stated before going back to her food. Sadie rests her elbow on the table before a familiar brunette wearing her famous white lab coat sat down with them. "Hey ladies. So I was just talking with Maddie on my way here-" "You better not be dating her." Lilia blurted out.
Millie sat there in shock before shaking her head. She would never date her best friend. "No, Lils. Anyways, so we were talking on our way here and she said that she's moving and that mixed with the breakup is just driving her crazy because she feels like her life is falling apart. Isn't that sad? I'm really gonna miss her." The young brunette explains before pulling a granola bar from a vending machine in the hall out of her pocket and unwrapping it. Lilia put a hand over her heart in relief.
"It's about fucking time. Where is she moving to, do you know?" The blonde asks, leaning over the table in anticipation. Millie propped her elbow up on the table and rests her head in her hand. "She's moving to California in three weeks. They just started packing yesterday." She announced before taking a bite of the granola bar again. Lilia let out a huge satisfied groan. "Finally! God, I hate her so much, I hope she has the worst time in California."
Sadie was making eye contact with someone from across the cafeteria, just zoning out on the girl's conversation. The boy looks back at her and he waved before blowing a kiss. She reached out and grabbed it with her hand before kissing the tips of her fingers and blowing it in her boyfriend's direction. He caught it and put it over his heart. It made the blue eyed girl blush a little.
Lilia and Millie saw what Sadie was doing and just gave each other looks of confusion. "Sade, what are you doing?" Millie questioned. The red head snapped out of her daze and looked at her best friends with a small grin. "I love him so much. I think he loves me too." She says before looking back up at the boy and giggling. The blonde rolls her eyes. Millie noticed and gave her a stern look. They got up and went under the table to talk privately while Sadie was still sitting at the table watching her boyfriend.
"What did I do?" Lilia whispered to her. Millie let out an exhale through her nose. "I told you to help her, not judge." "I wasn't judging her, I was just annoyed and trying to express it." The goth defends herself. Millie wasn't buying it for one second. She just wants her best friend to have a happy and healthy relationship and she would love to help with that, but she doesn't understand how dating works. So in desperation, she turns to the only person that she knows who can not only help Sadie, but Millie as well. "Expressing negative emotions is not helping. If you really wanna help her, give her tips and make her say things to him that would make him like her more."
Lilia scoffed. "Fine. I'm ready to become cupid and do my cupid duties." She sarcastically declared. The brunette snickered a little at the word duties. She may be smart and mature for her age, but she's not all mature. The blonde chuckles with her before pushing her shoulder. "Stop it, it's just a stupid word." She says to herself out loud. Millie took a deep breath to calm herself before they crawled out from beneath the table and sat with Sadie again. "Hey Sade, you should go sit with Caleb and his friends. Maybe ask them about their plans this weekend too." The blonde suggests with a cheerful smile.
The red head looks at her then to the three boys before nodding. "You know what, I will." She announced before standing up with a half eaten apple in one hand and went to go sit with the boys. Millie smiles and admires the couple from afar. She'd never admit this to anyone, but she wanted to be in a relationship. She wanted to hold someone's hand and share her first kiss with them. She wanted to go on dates too. Millie thought that love was a beautiful thing, a beautiful thing that she thought she'd never get to be apart of.
"I'm gonna go out for a smoke with my boys, wanna come?" Lilia offered as she stood up with one hand in her pocket just gripping the pack of smokes. The girl with brown eyes didn't wanna be alone, but she also didn't want to be near smokers. So she made a sacrifice. "I guess?" She stated unsure before standing up with the blonde and leaving to go hangout with the goths.
