Austin was frustrated. This all seemed too familiar to him as he walked down the same path with same emotions. Austin was climbing up the stairs with a loud thump in every step. Camila was ignoring him for two days straight. Since she came back from the basketball camp, she always seemed to excuse herself saying she had pending work at the Cabello Industries.
Straight off bullshit. Camila Cabello doesn't even like the B of the word business and now all of a sudden she had to work.
But now she couldn't escape him. Austin went straight to Cabello industries after school today. Thankfully, he found Rebecca easily. He asked about Camila's schedule nonchalantly to ignore the 'it is confidential' talk. She told him simply that rest of Camila's day was non-scheduled.
Having no other option but to check if Camila was at her home or not, Austin went there to know. As if the luck was not with Camila today, he found her car parked outside her house and was confirmed by a worker that Camila was indeed in her house.
The door of her room was closed, normally he would knock, respecting a girl's privacy but Camila was clearly hiding something from Austin which his instincts told him wasn't a surprise but a huge shock.
Austin changed his mind at the last second and decided to knock on the door rather than burst passing it. He entered when he heard a faint 'come in' from other side of the door.
"Hey" Camila said all buddy-buddy to Austin.
"Mila, I am not here for any more bullshit. Why can't you just answer my questions if you aren't guilty? And for god's sake stop ignoring me." Austin crossed his arms over his chest to show the firmness, and as a way to tell her that he won't go anywhere until he gets the answers he want.
"Rough day at school?"
"Camila" That was a warning. She was testing his waters like she always did. Typical Camila when you poke your nose into her business. "You know I can find answers myself but I rather listen to them from your mouth."
Camila let out a small sarcastic laugh "You should stop challenging me Austin. A please would have been a lot better than that to make me open my mouth. Go ahead now; find your answers your own way." She said calmly, turning her back to look outside the window that faced the poolside. "That's what you do. Hack and pry on other's devices to know what's 100% private."
"Don't turn this around me, Mila." His voice was stern but the tone was calm.
"Why the hell not?" Camila turned around and started taking slow steps towards him with her index figure pointed in his direction. "You first have the audacity to hack my phone, and like it's the most normal thing to do, you continue with questioning me on a thing that I wasn't still ready to let anyone know. I can't just believe you complained about me ignoring you when I have a perfect reason to be upset with you. It feels like you trust your machines more than your own friend. You didn't even ask me and straight went to hack my phone when a doubt was planted in your mind. So tell me Austin. Huh? Why the fuck I should not turn this on you?"
Austin knew that invading her privacy again was something he shouldn't have done. But he couldn't let this turn on him. Deciding that he will apologize harder to her later and find a new way for making it up to her, he used his most pleading tone "Mila, you perfectly know that my actions were in your best interest. Could you please tell me where you were before going to the camp?"
