Mia had to have a little talk with Yui before she needed to meet Reiji, so the moment they reached home she excused herself to go change. After changing into a lovely off-shoulder top and denims, that was sure to distract Reiji, Mia teleported outside Yui's room.

There was no noise, signifying that the coast was clear. Mia knocked twice and entered the room with a small smile, she looked up at Yui who had abruptly stood up from her bed and was practically shivering.

"Yui." Mia said softly, taking slow steps towards her. The girl whimpered when Mia was a step away from her.

'Convincing her that demons aren't evil will be a tad bit difficult, considering her attachment to the church.'

Yui tightened her grip on the rosary in her hand but didn't try to ward off Mia with it, she had learnt her lesson once.

Mia was greatly irritated by the presence of the holy item but faked a smile anyways, "Yui, I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to talk."

"I-i won't do anything to you, please don't hurt me!"

"Yui." Mia gasped, widening her eyes and stepping back, "I-i didn't think that you would believe silly rumors about my kind."

Yui visibly grimaced, "No-i, but the blood?" She stuttered.

"I'm sorry, I don't like hurting people unnecessarily, but-but they were threatening me with a knife and saying rude things about me and...you." Yui noticeably relaxed and appeared guilty even. Mia continued with a sniffle, "I just got angry and didn't realize what I'd done until it happened."

Mia cleared her throat and sat on the bed, Yui sat next to her patting her back immediately. "I'm sorry for judging you." She whispered.

"It's alright. I have to act cold and heartless because if I appear weak then those vampires won't leave me." Mia ensured that her voice was low enough for none of the vampires to hear. "You know the purple-haired one." Mia muttered.

"Yes."

Mia leaned closer to Yui, "He has a bunch of dead girls in his basement, and I heard him saying that he hates you. I can sense people's souls Yui, and he-he's completely evil."

Yui trembled, "I-i thought he was different."

"He's not." Mia said. "Promise me you'll be wary of him, I don't want you to get hurt."

"I will." Yui nodded with determination.

'So naive.'

Mia stood up and patted Yui's head, "I've got to go Yui, Reiji has to punish me."

Yui looked worried, "Please be alright."

"Of course." Mia grinned and walked out the door. "Bye Yui!"

"B-bye!"

Mia closed the door and her soft smile slipped off her face. The red-eyed female made her way to Reiji's quarters, "One problem solved."

She smirked, "Oh how I love when they believe everything you say."

Yui's innocent smile, her soft hand...why are you so pure mortal?

Mia gritted her teeth.

You'll be destroyed if you're that naive.

Don't you know, Mia thought back to her past, Vampires are famous for destroying people.

After all, a demon too once cared too much and look where it brought her.
