Karlheinz dodged another kick aimed at his face as he sidestepped, he threw his hand out and in a moment, his sons were thrown to the edge of the large room.

Ayato was the first one to try to move and when to his delight he had been able to step forward, a large invisible wall that kept all the five brothers trapped in the small space met him. Subaru growled before punching the invisible shield and when nothing happened, the white-haired vampire continued bruising his knuckles.

Outside the shield, Karlheinz moved towards Dante, eager to end this all so he could get on with his plan; however, before he could reach him, Mia had appeared in front of the green-haired man.

Karlheinz stopped, took a step back and sighed, "If this is how I have to take you, so then let it be." The golden-eyed man smirked, "Come at me, little Mia."

The demon's eyes flashed golden as she snarled, subtly shifting to the dining table.

"I do not have much time, Mia; we do have the Mukami's to visit." Karlheinz stopped abruptly as he sidestepped, barely missing two sharp knives thrown in his direction.

Dante giggled from his position, "That's it, my lovely rose, once you kill him, we can kill his sons and then!" He paused as his eyes shone insanely, "Then we can rule the world together!"

Mia gritted her teeth before she threw the cutlery on the table at the vampire king; the china shattered on the floor as the white-haired man easily dodged the items thrown his way.

"Those are not very good weapons." Karlheinz drawled as Mia threw two chairs in his direction. The king raised his hand and in a second, the wooden furniture diverted its course and smashed against the wall.

However, Mia—who had been just behind the chairs—managed to throw a knife at Karlheinz before he flicked his wrist and Mia was thrown against the same wall.

"You bastard!" Ayato roared as he threw himself against the shield, "You dare to hurt her!"

Mia slid against the wall and fell to the floor in an undignified heap, her eyes flashed red for a moment as she hissed, cradling her chest.

"She must have broken a rib or more." Reiji muttered with his teeth clenched together, "If this goes on any further..."

"That man is dragging it out," Laito spoke from his side, his nails dug into his fisted hands, "He can end it now, he's playing around for his sick amusement."

Shu who had been assessing the scene with cold eyes spoke, "Do not underestimate her as much, father looks rather angry as well." Yet his hands trembled as his blue eyes saw the scene fold out.

The five of them looked at Karlheinz as he pulled out a bloody knife from his shoulder. His face was blank yet his gold eyes were alight with fury. "I think this has gone long enough."

Mia managed to teleport just before Karlheinz raised his hand and the whole table smashed into the wall she was slumped against.

Mia's eyes glinted as she smirked, "I cannot touch you and you cannot catch me, this is a rather frustrating case of stalemate."

Mia was on the ground the next second, holding her throat as she dry heaved on the ground. She weakly looked up to stare at Karlheinz as he removed his bloody hand out of Dante's chest.

"Mia!" Shu exclaimed, his blue eyes widening as he stepped closer to the shield. "This isn't good, damn it." He slammed a fist in the shield as he closed his eyes in frustration.
