The Mukami's

Mia stared down at the chamomile tea in the delicate cup, shifting on the sofa; the silence was too heavy and the four piercing eyes fixed on her did not seem to intend to look away any time soon.

"Well, it's lovely to see that you're all well," Karlheinz's golden eyes glanced at the demon, "There is a very important matter that I need to talk about with you all."

The tension in the room seemed to spike up.

Mia glanced away from the swirling liquid to see the dark-haired man that had opened the door speak, "Sir, is there something wrong?" His striking grey-blue eyes flickered to her.

"No," Karlheinz chuckled, "Instead, it's rather joyous news. My little Mia-" He stopped abruptly when Mia gripped his arm, his sharp eyes glancing at her.

"Why not let me introduce myself, brother?" Mia smiled tightly.

The men before her seemed to stiffen, whether at the fact that she stopped the Vampire King or she called him her brother was not clear. Karlheinz smiled darkly, "Of course, go ahead."

Mia took a breath before looking up at the four handsome faces looking at her, "Lovely to make your acquaintance, my name is Mia Abe and I am going to be marrying one of you in the future."

"Marry...?" A vampire with purple eyes asked slowly.

The tallest of the group scoffed, "What in the world does that mean?" Karlheinz cut in, "She is speaking the truth, Yuma." Yuma stopped, his brown eyes running over the beautiful features of his supposed fiance before looking away as her gaze met his.

"Sir, does this mean that she's Eve?" The dark-haired man spoke up, his grey-eyes narrowed.

Mia laughed and leaned forward to set the cup on the table, she crossed her legs not missing the glances sent to the limbs as they were exposed.

"I am far from some Eve," She cupped her chin, red eyes glinting as she drawled, "I am a demon after all."

The silence was deafening.

"A real demon," The blond haired vampire muttered, his blue eye turning red as he looked at her, "She's not lying."

"Of course she's not," Karlheinz stood up, "Ruki, I believe that you'll be able to handle it from here?"

Ruki nodded, his lips pressed together, "Of course, Sir."

"There are some rules," Karlheinz's golden eyes flashed, "No serious harm should befall Mia," The demon straightened up as the king looked at her, "You are not allowed to leave this mansion."

Mia stood up, her teeth gritted, "Karl, that is going too far."

Karlheinz leaned down and Mia's eyes fluttered close as he placed a small kiss on her forehead, "Little Mia, do not defy me."

Mia's red eyes seemed to glow with rage and a dark aura surrounded her until she closed her eyes and nodded.

He teleported away leaving the demon with four vampires, Mia took a deep breath to maintain her cool and turned to face the men.

'Let's do this then, I won't forgive you, Karl.'

Ruki assessed her with narrowed eyes before bowing his head once, "Ms Abe, let me introduce myself, I am the eldest, Ruki Mukami."

Mia let her eyes trace his dark hair and beautiful blue-grey eyes before smirking, "A lovely name for a lovely face, please call me Mia."

Ruki seemed taken aback for a second and the blond vampire laughed, "Oh dear, this will be fun." His blue eyes shone as he smirked, "I'm Kou, red rose."

Mia raised a brow, "Red rose?" Kou simply winked at her and Mia felt her lips twitch as her heart felt less heavy.

"Oi, name's Yuma Mukami," Mia looked up to see the brown-haired vampire scowl at her before he seemed to pull a small sugar cube from nowhere and started munching on it. Mia stared at him in silence with confused eyes before a light voice grabbed her attention.

A green-haired vampire smiled at her, scares lining his face, "I'm Azusa...I like...you already...wife." His purple eyes shone as he spoke.

Mia's lips parted as she and Azusa's brothers stared at the vampire in shocked silence.

"Wait, w—wife?" Mia croaked.

Yuma chuckled as Kou threw an arm around Mia's shoulders, "What's with this cute face you're making, red rose?"

Mia shrugged off his arm not missing his eyes darkening for a moment, "Azusa, I'm not married to any of you yet." Mia explained blankly.

Ruki cut in with sharp blue-grey eyes, "You will be though."

Mia tilted her head back to glance at him, not missing his cold eyes, "Ruki, this is a mission for me too, I didn't choose this willingly, so, you don't need to worry, I'm not running away."

A sharp jolt seemed to run through her mind, 'A Mission...where have I heard that before?'

Yuma distracted her from her thoughts by slamming a hand on the glass window, "So you're saying we're not good enough for you or something?!"

Mia hummed, "You're all very attractive, Yuma." The brown-haired vampire's eyes widened slightly before he glared at the sofa with a huff, "Now it's all about your personalities," Mia continued.

"What a weird sow," He muttered, "So direct."

"Coming to the topic at hand," Ruki spoke up, "We have a guest room for you, but other than that is there anything we need to know about you?"

Kou piped in, "Yeah, considering you're a demon and all."

Mia ran her tongue over her fangs in thought and the brother's eyes followed the action, "Well, I do not consume human food but I will be needing your blood."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean," Yuma growled, his brown eyes narrowing at her.

"I'll need to take blood daily, not a large quantity, but to survive, yes, I'll need it."

Ruki smirked, "I see."

Kou matched his expression, "You know, red rose, in this world nothing comes free."

"I know," Mia said, her eyes darkening.

Kou seemed taken aback before his eyes seemed to flash with understanding. "You will have to provide us with blood as well, if you want blood, Mia." Ruki said, his tone cool yet with an underlining lick of glee.

"Of course, but you will not be taking more blood than I can give." Mia said, red eyes narrowing.

"Of course," Ruki repeated with a smirk.

Yuma chuckled, "Kou's right, this will be fun."

"Now, if we could move to my room?" Mia crossed her arms. "Karl will need to send me some clothes, this dress is uncomfortable."

Ruki's eyes ran down her figure before he turned to go up the stairs, "Of course, I'll send a message."

Mia moved to follow him before Kou's whisper just by her ear had her pausing, "I quite like this dress though, red rose."

Mia felt her lips twitch again and this time did not curb her grin as she walked up the stairs behind Ruki, "That's because you're a pervert, Kou~"

Yuma guffawed with laughter as Kou pouted with a dark expression, Azusa watched it all with smiling eyes and even Ruki felt himself smirk.

Mia's heart warmed, 'Maybe this won't be too bad."
