Amie's POV:

****Dream****

I'm walking in the forbidden forest. It's dark and eerie. Suddenly I come to a clearing where the sun is shining. It's nice there, compared to the darkness of the rest of the forest. My mum walks out into the sun.

"Hey mum! What are you doing here?" I say happily.

"Do not call me 'Mum'." she says angrily. "You've never earned the right to call me that. You're a horrible child and your father and I feel no love for you at all."

"No! No, mum! Don't say that! It's not true, it's not!" I am crying now. It's what I've always been scared of, my mum and dad not loving me. I lie on the ground crying my eyes out.

The scene changes.

I'm floating in the air, looking down at a horrifying seen. Everyone I've ever met and liked is dead on the ground. Mum, dad, grandma, grandpa, Hermione, Harry, Ron, Neville. Everyone I love is there, and I see a hooded figure standing over them, laughing.

"NO! NOOOOO!" I'm crying worse than ever.

The scene changes again.

This time is different. Very different. More real somehow. I see Harry, and he is standing in a circular room on top of some steps. Behind him is flames. He is trapped there, I realize. The scene blurs for a second. Next thing I know, Harry is on the floor, unconscious, and I hear a pained sob in the backround.

****End Dream****

"Amie! AMIE!"
Somebody is screaming my name. Hermione! I open my eyes, and she is sitting on my bed with a worried expression on her face, and her hands are pinning down my arms, as if I've been thrashing about in my sleep. I realize I'm crying and breathing hard. Standing at the bottom of my bed is Lavender, Parvati, Fay and Sophie. They, too, look very worried.
"Are you okay?" Hermione asks. "Do you need to see Madam Pomfrey?"
"No. I'm fine." I assure her. "I think I need to see Dumbledore though. What time is it?"
"Six. You have time, don't worry." Hermione says.
I get out of bed and change into my robes before making my way to McGonagall's office.  Luckily she  opens the door within seconds, fully dressed.
"Miss Jones? What is the meaning of this?"
"I need to see Professor Dumbledore. Can you show me the way to his office?" I ask her. She looks shocked for a minute, and searches my face. She can see that I'm very serious.
"Oh, of course." she agrees and shuts her door behind her. It doesn't take long before McGonagall stops, right in front of a stone gargoyle.
"Lemon drops." she says, and the gargoyle moves aside, showing a large staircase. I climb on, and the staircase starts spinning, before coming to a halt outside of a door. I knock on it, and Dumbledore says;
"Come in." I open the door and see the coolest office ever. I couldn't describe it even if I wanted to - it was full of paintings and different magical things.
"Wow. You have a very cool office, Professor." I say to him.
"Thank you, Miss Jones." he smiles at me. "I believe I am correct in saying that you didn't come here this early to compliment me on my office."
"You're right, Professor. You see, I woke up from a nightmare a few minutes ago..." I said, unsure of how to continue.
"Ahh." Dumbledore says. "What happened in this nightmare?"
"That's the thing, I'm not sure it was actually a nightmare, it felt too real. I dreamed normal nightmares before this one, but they're not important. This one felt like a vision, Professor. I saw Harry, Mr. Potter I mean, and he seemed to be trapped in a room made of stone with no windows and flames in an opening behind him. The next thing  I saw was Harry unconscious on the floor, and someone was crying in pain, but I didn't see who."
Dumbledore was looking at me intently by the time I finished, his mouth slightly open.
"Can you remember anything else? From the vision."
"No. But you believe that it was a vision then?" I ask him.
"Oh, yes. I believe you. I do not however believe that you ought to spend time pondering the meaning of this vision. Leave that to me. You focus on Quidditch, school, and having fun with your friends." he says kindly to me.
"Thanks, Professor. May I leave?"
"You may." he says with a twinkle in his eyes. I nod my head, before standing up and leaving his office.

""""""""""""""""""""""""

When Harry and Ron came down from their dormitories a few hours later, I had decided not to tell them about my vision. Either it would worry them, or they wouldn't believe me. Hermione had waited for me in the common room when I came back from Dumbledore's office, and she had been asking me about my dream ever since.
"Drop it, Hermione! It's between me and Dumbledore what I dreamt about." I said irritably.
"Dumbledore? What have you been dreaming, AJ?" Ron asked and yawned.
"Nothing!" I yelled, jumping up from my armchair. "Let's go eat breakfast!"
They stopped bothering me after that, and tried convincing Harry to eat something. Now Harry and I was down in the locker rooms by the Quidditch field, listening to Wood's pre-match speech.
"Okay, men," he said.
"And women," Angelina, one of the chasers, said.
"And women," Wood agreed. "This is it."
"The big one." said Fred
"The one we've all been waiting for." George said.
"We know Oliver's speech by heart." Fred told Harry and me. "We were on the team last year."
"Shut up, Fred." Wood said. " This is the best team Gryffindor's had in years. We're going to win. I know it. Right, it's time. Good luck, all of you."

"""""""""""""""""

The game could have gone better than it did. It went well at first, I scored our first goal, and Angelina our second. But then, Harry's broom started acting weird. It was trying to buck him off, and Harry was clinging on for dear life. Me, my team, and the entire audience held our breaths while watching Harry struggling. Slytherin scored six times before Harry managed to climb on again, and I sighed in relief. But then, Harry went into a steep dive, and I gasped in shock. He hit the field standing on all fours, and he coughed up the snitch.
"I've got the snitch!" he shouted, and the game ended in confusion. I flew to Harry, dropped the broom on the ground, and dragged him into a tight hug.
"I'm so glad you're okay." I said with tears streaming down my face, both from relief and because we won.

"""""""""""""""""""

After the game Hagrid made us tea down in his hut.
"It was Snape." Ron said to Harry. "Hermione and I saw him. He was cursing your broomstick, muttering, he wouldn't take his eyes off you."
"Rubbish." Hagrid said. "Why would Snape do somethin' like that?"
I saw Harry changing a look with Ron and Hermione, and I sighed.
"I found out something about him." Harry told Hagrid. "He tried to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween. It bit him. We think he's trying to steal whatever it's guarding."
"I don't think so!" I said angrily. Hagrid dropped the teapot.
"How do you know abou' Fluffy?" he said.
"Fluffy?"
"Yeah -- he's mine -- bought him off a Greek chappie I met in the pub las' year -- I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the --"
"Yes?" Harry said eagerly.
"Great, Harry." I mumbled.
Hagrid refused to say anything else on the subject, except when he let slip that someone named Nicolas Flamel was involved. I sighed. Now Harry was never gonna drop it.
