~Violet's POV~

It turns out, Luke and I weren't supposed to pick up the guys at all.

We'd been driving for about thirty minutes before I looked over at him, "Where are we going?" I asked, frowning. He glanced at me briefly, "Not to get the guys." He said blankly, not bothering to explain. I assumed he just said we had to because he thought I was taking too long.

When we finally got to wherever we were supposed to be going, I saw one other car, but it was too dark outside for me to see if it belonged to any of the boys. I assumed it did, though. I reached into the backseat and grabbed my bag off the floor of the car, nearly hitting Luke in the head with it once I sat back up.

I got out of the car and slammed the door shut, hearing a yell before someone came running at me, wrapping their arms around me and lifting me off the ground. I screamed in surprise, Ashton's giggles greeting my ears as I placed my hands on his shoulders. "It's about time you guys got here!" Ash exclaimed, and then a flashlight shone into our faces, momentarily blinding me.

I squinted as the light lowered from our faces, Calum and Mikey's smiling faces greeting me. I smiled back at them and then looked up at Ash, "You can put me down now." I said, and he shrugged. "I feel like we never see each-other." He pouted, "Always hanging out with Luke." He said, shooting Luke a glare.

My head reeled back a little, raising a brow. "I am not!" I huffed, "We barely hang out, actually." I said and Luke nodded in agreement. "Plus, you just saw me a few hours ago." I chuckled. Ash rolled his eyes, "Well, let's go, guys." He said, and I assumed he was carrying me to wherever we were going because he didn't put me down.

His hands moved to the back of my thighs as I wrapped my legs around him, and Luke raised a brow, staring at us intently before quickly turning around and leading us towards where we were staying. When we came to a stop, I asked Ash to let me down, who obeyed and allowed me to walk myself.

The boys set up the tents, without any help from me, and I saw that there was only four, and the tents weren't very big. "Am I sharing with Luke, then?" I asked, and Mikey, Ashton, and Calum all nodded, as if they'd decided this beforehand. I shrugged, "Okay." I said, "So what are we going to do?" I asked, and Michael flicked his flashlight on and off.

"Hide and seek in the dark?" He asked, grinning. We all agreed, and Michael volunteered to go first since he came up with the idea of what to play.

"Okay, I'll close my eyes and you idiots go hide." Michael said, his eyes falling shut. Basically, Michael was the only one who was allowed a flashlight, which meant we couldn't see a whole lot. It was also really loud when we walked, so once we found a hiding spot, we had to stick to it until we were found. Whoever was found first would be it the next round, and we had established that we were only allowed to wander so far away.

I ran off, hearing Michael's voice grow distant behind me as he counted down and then announced that he was coming. I stowed myself behind a tree, as everyone else did since we were in the middle of the woods. I could see the light from Michael's flashlight waving around, letting me know he wasn't even close to me yet. I could hear his footsteps coming closer and closer, nearing me as he waved his flashlight about while trying to find someone.

Michael eventually found me first, shining his bright light into my face as he looked down at me. "Yes!" He cheered, fist pumping the air. "Help me find the others." He said, and I nodded, the two of us splitting up to cover more ground.

I could hear Ashton start giggling and then Michael tell him to 'stop being so loud,' which let me know we were just looking for Calum and Luke now. Unfortunately, I didn't have a flashlight, so I didn't see nor hear Luke until he popped out from a tree beside me, yanking me close to him as he covered my mouth with his hand.
