~Violet's POV~

I sat in PE class with Luke behind me in his assigned seat, waiting for one of the coaches to tell us what we would be doing for today. Coach Benson stood from her chair, coming to stand in front of all of us. "We're going to the track today." She announced, and my heart instantly dropped.

"You guys need to go around the track the entire class. I don't care if you walk, run, jog, whatever, but you have to do it." She said, which made me calm down. As long as I didn't have to run, I was fine. I hated running with a passion. "Go line up by the door." She instructed, and everyone stood from their spots, heading over to the back door and forming a messy line.

I walked beside Luke, who, for some reason, was still dressed in his clothes that he came to school in. "How come you don't have to change out?" I asked, frowning at him. Luke shrugged, "Cause I don't wanna." He said, and I hummed, standing with him at the end of the line. We began heading outside, the cool air surrounding my bare legs. I felt goosebumps rise on my skin, a shiver going up my spine.

Luke glanced down at me with a small smile on his face, "You cold?" He asked, and I sheepishly nodded. "I'm okay." I shrugged, tucking my hair behind my ear.

We began walking around the track together, at first in a comfortable silence before he broke the silence. "I'm assuming you're coming with the boys to my house this weekend, like usual." He said, looking over at me. "Friday night like normal?" I asked, and he nodded. "Like normal." He confirmed. I smiled, nodding my head. "Yeah."

"I'll probably just stay with you until we leave." He said, "Is that okay?" He asked, making me raise a brow. "Since when did you care if that was okay?" I teased, bumping his shoulder. He rolled his eyes. "Since now." He lightly nudged my shoulder right back. "Well, yeah, that's okay." I assured, looking down at the track as we walked around it.

"Hey." Luke said suddenly, catching my attention. "What?" I asked, but didn't look up at him. "I'm sorry I made you feel like being inexperienced is a bad thing." He apologized, causing my head to jerk up to look over at him. I was a little surprised, honestly. "O-Oh." I mumbled. "It's not a big deal, really." I dismissed, waving it off with a hand.

"You said it made you upset..." He said, his voice trailing off at the end. "And ashamed." He frowned, looking down at me. "It did." I admitted, looking in front of me for a split second. "I already told you it was okay, though." I said, but he still frowned. "You know, earlier...after you were talking about my hickies." I reminded, subconsciously reaching up and brushing my fingers against the same spot his mouth had once been.

"I remember." He snorted, glancing down at my neck. A small smirk lifted up at the edge of his lips, "They look good on you." He teased, making me drop my hand as a blush of embarrassment creeped up my neck.

"Shut up, Luke." I muttered. He chuckled, "They do." He insisted, and I rolled my eyes discreetly. "Don't roll your eyes, baby." He scolded. I gave him an annoyed look, "Stop embarrassing me." I huffed, watching as an amused smirk pushed up onto his face. "I'm embarrassing you by talking to you about the hickies I gave you?" He asked, laughing as he shook his head.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, which only made him grin widely. "I could always give you more, so I could embarrass you more." He offered. I stared at him, shaking my head. "Your jokes suck." I stated. He raised a brow, "Wasn't joking." He said.

"You're so annoying." I groaned, but he just chuckled. "Careful. You know what happened after the last time you said that to me." He said, reaching up and lightly tapping my neck. I swatted his hand away, "Stop teasing me." I whined, causing him to pout. "But it's fun. I love seeing you get all riled up and flustered." He chuckled. "I do not get flustered!" I huffed.
