~Luke's POV~
I woke up before Violet the next day, which basically never happens. She usually wakes up before me and wakes me up while trying to get out of my hold.
She was wearing the pants and tank top from when we fell asleep, which I couldn't imagine she was comfortable sleeping in. Her pants were skin tight and she still wore her bra, which she never did when she slept.
She looked beautiful, though. Her head rested on my chest, soft breaths escaping her lips and fanning over the fabric of my shirt. Her lashes were dark and long, her face completely relaxed as she slept. I just laid there as she slept, staring at her like a creep, quite frankly. I didn't care much, though. I knew she probably did the same to me.
Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, and I reached down, pulling it out to see Ash had texted me about a party tonight, which surprised me a bit. It was Sunday for one, but we'd also just been to one on Friday. I thought Violet would probably say no, just because it was Sunday, but there was no harm in asking anyways.
She scooted closer to me, throwing her leg over me as she snuggled into my chest more. I quickly checked the time, to see it was nearly noon, which meant we'd slept for over twelve hours.
I lightly shook her shoulder, causing her to quietly whine as her eyes opened. She looked up at me, her brown eyes a little tired, somehow. "What time is it?" She asked, rolling away from me with a yawn. "Noon." I said, my eyes wandering over her from behind as she stood up.
I watched her as she grabbed a change of clothes and disappeared silently into the bathroom, shutting the door and locking it behind her. I took my shower after her, leaving the bathroom in a pair of sweats when I was done.
Cherry sat cross legged on her bed in a pair of pajama shorts and a tank top, looking up at me and trying to keep her eyes off my chest. I hid a smile, finding it funny that she still did that every time I got out of the shower and didn't put on a shirt. That's why I didn't do it; I liked seeing the way her eyes would occasionally drift down before snapping back up to my face. It was adorable.
"Ash wants to go to a party." I said to her, running a hand through my wet hair. She blinked in surprise, "Tonight?" She asked, causing me to nod. "It's Sunday." She frowned, looking a bit doubtful. I nodded again, "I could tell him you don't wanna go." I offered, sitting down beside her. She shook her head, "No! No, I'll go." She assured, biting the inside of her cheek.
"It's at 8." I said, leaning back against the headboard of her bed. She nodded, letting me know she'd heard me. It was probably about four PM when she started doing her makeup, focusing intently as she put on her foundation with some egg looking thing. I didn't know what the hell it was.
Cherry looked over at me as I sat there, watching her. "Why are you staring at me?" She huffed, sounding irritated. I tapped on her bottom lip lightly, "You should be used to it." I said simply, shrugging carelessly. She shook her head, going back to putting on eyeliner. "You're just too pretty." I teased, lightly pulling on a strand of her long hair. I saw the tips of her ears turn light pink as she reached over to push my hand away.
"Stop it." She said, a small smile on her face. I grabbed her wrist, forcing her to lean towards me as I turned her head to look at me. "I'm trying to do my makeup, Luke." She groaned, pulling away from me.
I pouted to myself, tapping her bare thigh. "Can I pick your dress?" I asked, to which she looked up at me with an instant shake of her head. "Why not?" I whined. She raised a brow, "Because you'd probably make me wear a sweater or something so nobody will look at me." She said, which wasn't true. Not anymore, at least.
