Izuku Midoriya x Reader

"Help me, Izuku."

Izuku couldn't forget the distress in her voice. Her voice was wavering, almost crying and he knew she was on the verge of tears. The moment he heard the thick silence after he answered her call, he knew something was wrong. That was when her feeble voice asked for abetment. She needed him.

(Y/N) was always that strong cheerful girl. She was seldom seen sad or angry. She possessed a contagious positive vibe that even the cold Shouto would be seen smiling slightly at one of her antics. She always helped others before herself. A true hero she was.

Izuku slipped on his hoodie and ran towards the door, opening it in an instant. He glanced at his phone, memorizing the address the phone had tracked her location. It was an alleyway and that fact made the green-haired boy assume dangerous things that might have happened to her. Was she attacked by a villain? Was she robbed? Was she hurt? Was she alright?

Izuku fastened his pace until he finally saw the alley. The narrow street was dark due to how late the night was. Admist the black surroundings, he could see a silhouette of a girl laying on the ground. Without wasting any second, he dashed to the body and his assumptions were confirmed once he saw her (h/c) coloured hair. His heart thumped inside his chest, slowly panicking as he took a sharp breath. Quickly, he observed his ambient only to find no presence hiding somewhere. He slipped his arms under her legs and neck then lifted her up.

Using his quirk, he swiftly galloped back to their dorm and notified their homeroom teacher who was still awake to finish his paperwork.

"Follow me." That was all he said before they went to Recovery Girl to tend her injuries. The old nurse told them to wait outside the clinic until she finds the result. Despite the green-haired teen's disapprobation, he was forced by Shouta to bide until the aftereffects were confirmed.

"But I can't just stand here and do absolutely nothing knowing she's hurt." Izuku argued, murmuring under his breath.

Shouta glanced down at his student, his dark eyes softening for a second. Izuku wore a solemn and worried expression. He hated it when he couldn't help. He hated it when he feels useless, just like how he was when he was a quirkless, boring teen.

Aizawa shifted his gaze from him and stated, "If you think you're impractible at the moment then you are an idiot."

Izuku's widened and faced his teacher. He wasn't at all used to Shouta's straightforwardness.

"You can show support by having faith on her. (Y/N) is not weak, she can make it. Do not underestimate her. Think positive and the next thing you'll know, everything turned out just fine," he spoke, "If you think otherwise then clearly you are underrating her. That is not a true friend would do."

He glanced at the clinic's tall and large door then at his watch. "You might as well go to bed. It's late and school tomorrow will be a pain if you don't get enough rest."

He stood up and walked away from the dazzled male. Now that he thought about it, what Shouta had said made sense. He shouldn't undervalue her because (Y/N) was a stout person. He felt guilty and bad.

Izuku stood up and faced the facility's door. He knew the injured girl was behind the movable piece of wood, fighting and struggling. With a new found  determination, he closed his eyes and muttered,

"I believe in you, (Y/N)."
