Izuku Midoriya x Reader

(A/N: A couple of sentences aren't mine and are from the english subtitles of Magic Mirror by the Kagamine twins. I did try my best to paraphrase, though.)

Above the ceiling was a bantam narrow room. The room was slightly dusty and a mess, having no one to clean or let alone visit the lonely space. It was quiet yet everything was not in peace.

In the middle of such a lone universe was a girl who had only a brief moment in the said space. She was like a plant that grows flowers. Like a certain plant in this world, it will eventually wither and die as it change into a dark lifeless color of grey. The damsel was no opposite to this anonymous plant. The time she only had in this world was quickly slipping away and she wasn't doing anything to live the most of it. How can she? She didn't even had the energy to walk.

Then, it betided one day. As she sat on the cold hard floor, she noticed the aged mirror at the corner of her room. A white dusty cloth was draped over it and she tried to swap it away, using the frame of the glass as support to her weight. The cloth was successfully removed and it sprawled on the floor. The girl stared at her reflection at the mirror and she couldn't help but disfavor her features. Her skin was white and pale as a paper, her eyes were dull and lifeless, her hair was a disarrangement and her clothes were all crumpled and stinky from the lack of change she does.

As she was about to look away from her grotesque reflection, she saw a spark. It looked like a glitter and it only lasted for a second. She might have been hallucinating, maybe another symptom of her illness. She looked away, confirming her thoughts. She twirled around, her legs and knees never leaving the algid ground, she looked sorrowfully at them.

"Hello."

What was that? A hallucination? It felt real though. Maybe she was going crazy. Again, she dismissed the voice that she had thought was a chimera.

"Hm? Can't she hear me? I was sure I did the right spell. Did I miss something?" She heard tapping from behind her and it was enough to convince herself that she wasn't conceited.

She turned around and her (e/c)-coloured orbs dilated in shock. They met with dark green eyes that she had never encountered with. There in the mirror was a boy, a bit taller than her height, with green curly hair and wore a cape, a vest and long-sleeved shirt under. The boy noticed that she was looking directly at him and he stared back.

"So you can see me!" He beamed.

He was like a reflected image, but there was nothing that reflected him. It almost seemed he came from the other side of the mirror. Like a portal but you can't come through, however you are able to talk and see each other on both sides.

"You must be shocked, that's understandable. You don't see someone in your mirror everyday, after all," he laughed and it sounded like bells, a music to her ears. "I shall introduce myself first, then."

"My name is Midoriya Izuku and I'm a wizard."

Since that day, their lot began to vary and the lonely girl wasn't very alone anymore. Her quotidian was changing every passing minute and her life slowly had a purpose.

"Would it be fine to say that you're my first friend?"

The corners of the magician's  mouth turned up and his eyes glimmered.

"Of course!"

Times of happiness piled up across the mirror in a whirl and the magic was slowly vented.

Could you call my name?

"(Y/N)-san."

The girl looked up to the mirror and saw his palm. It was crooked and scarred. It wondered her how he got those large marks. She reminded herself to ask him later. She had to do something as of now.
