Eijiro Kirishima x Reader

"You can't just choose someone to marry me!" (Y/N) shouted, standing up from her chair abruptly.

"Don't raise your voice at me, (Y/N)," her father warned, a cold glare evident in his (insert eye color) eyes.

Glaring back, she sat back down while clenching her jaw.

"We already filed a marriage contract with the family. Your signature is the last requirement," he spoke, sliding the folder on the table. "Your mother and I had spoilt you ever since you were a child. Now that you're older and more capable, it's time you do things in our command."

(Y/N) never spared a glance on the folder, her eyes remained cold and full of hatred as they peirced to her father's eyes. She knew her parents had given her everything she wanted. Dresses, shoes, make-up, gadgets. You name it all but there was one thing they couldn't give to her.

Affection.

She could lose all her fancy stuff for her parents' affection. Every night as she lie on her bed, she wondered what it feels like to be loved by a mother, to be carried and thrown in the air as she laughs happily, to have a picnic with them,

To be loved by them in general.

She once considered to do something in return but she wasn't expecting this. Of course she wouldn't agree. She basically lost her rights to choose. She was still human and she knew her decisions were to be made by her and her only. But her father had differed and she was stuck in this situation. She knew she wasn't given any choice. Her father was much more superior. He could kick her out if he wanted to, that was (Y/N)'s worst case scenario. And so she decided.

Picking up the pen she opened the folder that contained the contract. Finding her printed name, she scribbled her signature above it. There was no backing out now. She had agreed to participate on her arranged marriage. She saw a faint smirk plastered on her father's face.

"Good girl."

Her father had won.

"Good day, Mr. (L/N)!"

(Y/N) head snapped to the woman in fancy clothing, she looked gorgeous and elegant in it. She wore a warm smile as she shook my father's hand who was spouting formal greetings to the newly arrived guest.

"I see that you've successfully convinced your son to partake in this arranged marriaged."

"Oh, it wasn't a trouble doing so. Eijiro is quite an obedient child."

"That's lucky for you. My daughter was easily argued as well."

Mr. (L/N) turned his head to his daughter who had been sitting awkwardly in her complex dress.

"This is my daughter, (F/N) (L/N)."

Mrs. Kirishima beamed as soon as she laid her eyes on me. She walked towards me and rejoiced, "She is beautiful! It's nice meeting you, dear."

Blushing slightly at the compliment, she answered, "Likewise."

"Oh! I've forgotten to introduce my son!" She gasped. She turned on her heel and waved her hand in a classy manner. Then, a boy of average height ambulated towards their position. Once he had arrived, (Y/N) took notice of his appearance.

He possessed red spiky hair and dark orbs. He was admittedly handsome and looked attentive. He bowed down with his hand on his chest and the other behind his back.

"Eijiro Kirishima, it is a pleasure to meet you," he stated, a cheeky grin plastered on his face.

(Y/N) did a courtly gesture and replied, "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), I am honored to finally chance upon you."

I heard Kirishima's mother giggle as she clapped her hands once. "Now, why don't the both of you hang around for a while. I have matters to discuss with Mr. (L/N). Eijiro, I expect you to take good care of Ms. (Y/N)"

"Yes, mother."

He offered his arm to (Y/N) and she looped hers with his. He lead her away from her father to basically anywhere. (Y/N) pursed her lips and surveyed her surroundings, trying to avoid looking at her partners face.

"With that expression, I'm guessing you weren't given a choice to this content."

(Y/N)'s eyes became broad. Was she that see-through? Had he noticed her anguish? Does he know everything? Was it his quirk?

"Your quirk..." she muttered.

"Ah," he chuckled, making (Y/N) feel someting tug in her heart. "It's not my quirk. I just made an assumption that happens to be correct."

"I-I see." A faint blush was apparent on her (insert skin color) skin. "Am I really that blazing?"

"Not really. I sorta understand what you're feeling."

"Really?" (Y/N) asked, "Were you forced to endure this as well?"

"Something like that." Eijiro quaked, a nervous smile settling on his lips. "Did you like someone?"

"No, not really."

"Then..."

(Y/N) pursed her lips and her gaze went to the floor. She opened her mouth to talk but she closed it back hesitantly. Eijiro didn't fail to notice this.

"You don't have to say it if you're feeling comfortless."

(Y/N) briefly glanced at the red-headed male before shaking her head.

"No, I want to tell you. Just letting all of these out of my head," she said, "I was always cockered ever since I was a child. They gave me dresses, shoes, make-ups, everything I wanted. But there was no one I could show them with, aside from the maids. All they ever do is throw bouquets at me. I appreciate them anyways.

My parents are always so active at work. They rarely come home and usually goes on trips for months or years. And even if they were home, they wouldn't give me their absorption. I thought I was only being selfish so I would always brush those thoughts away. But now that they've given me their concentration only because they wanted me to participate in an agreed marriage, I could say I regret wishing for their so called engrossment and affection.

I'm sorry if I'm offending you but it's really hard for me to wed someone I just met. I don't even know you aside from your name and financial status."

"No, it's fine. I understand what you're trying to say." Eijiro scratched his nape and gave a boyish grin. "Say, why don't we start being friends?"

"What?" (Y/N)'s brows scrunched in confusion.

"You know, since there really is no way to escape our parents' arrangement, I thought that we should start forming a bond or something. It's okay if you don't coincide with me. I will understand your conclusion. I only want to be friends with you since you seem to be a nice person. I swear I have no intention of having money or anything!"

(Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes stared at the redhead. She blinked a couple of times and smiled slightly, looking down to the ground faintheartedly as a blush erupted to her cheeks.

"That's actually a good idea."

"Really? So you agree with me?"

She looked up to him and beamed warmly.

"Let's give it a try."
