"Mommy, mommy..."

"Sicheng, baby..."

Sicheng groaned in annoyance as the father and son duo attempted to wake him up, unfortunately succeeding.

"Let me sleep. Who the hell wakes up this early on a Sunday, anyway?" He whined, his voice muffled by the pillow he had buried his face in. Rin was sitting on his back, his chubby hands trying to take Sicheng's precious pillow.

"Mommy, c'mon. Daddy made waffles!" Rin yelled happily, climbing down from Yuta's bed. Sicheng momentarily lifted his head, inhaling the delicious scent of freshly made waffles and bacon before laziness kicked back in, making him face plant back into the pillow.

"Yeah, I did. Unless you'd rather me eat you instead," Yuta whispered in Sicheng's ear, placing a gentle kiss on the boy's exposed neck.

"Yuta, stop it. Rin is right there," Sicheng removed the pillow to scold the father. Yuta just smiled cockily and placed his lips on Sicheng's, somehow flipping the boy onto his back. His tongue caressed the younger's lips, pulling them between his greedy teeth. Yuta pulled away slowly, Sicheng's bottom lip still caught between his canines. He let go with a cheeky smile, jumping up from the bed.

"C'mon, lazy," he yelled, giving Sicheng's exposed thigh a light smack. "Waffles!" The grown man ran off, his son following behind him, both singing the stupid waffle song from Teen Titan's Go.

"What did I get myself into?" Sicheng asked himself as he literally rolled out of the bed, painfully hitting the ground. Thankfully, the pain was rewarded with surprisingly delicious waffles. Although if Sicheng had a say, he would have added chocolate.

"How about next time, Sichengie will make you chocolate waffles. Does that sound good?" It felt a bit odd referring to himself in the third person, but Rin's smiling face was totally worth it.

"Can I be better at you in something, please?" Yuta asked, violently shoving a waffle into his mouth.

"Well, you'd definitely top, if it makes you feel any better."

Yuta coughed as he choked on his fluffy waffle. Sicheng was usually the flustered one, and he was enjoying switching it up.

"Rin is right there!" Yuta said, repeating Sicheng's earlier statement.

"Oh, so you care now and not when your tongue was down my throat, okay."

Rin was watching the two in utter confusion. He had looked up from his syrup smiley face when he heard his name, but the two were just spewing words the little boy didn't understand. He got bored of the couple quickly and went back to adding the eyes on his wonky smiley face.

The rest of breakfast went by flawlessly if you exclude Rin's mini accident with knocking over the plate of bacon. Sicheng was surprised when he saw a poofy Pomeranian come and lick up the bacon.

"We have a dog?"

"Yes, we do."

Sicheng recalled his words and blushed, his confidence short-lived. He had been referring to things as theirs a lot lately, especially with Rin. When he was at the park or school and someone asked who Rin was he would say it was his son. That, of course, led to more questions, but Sicheng was happy to answer if it meant he got to talk about the family he'd started to claim. Rin stayed up for a few more hours, forcing Sicheng to watch TMNT with him. Not that Sicheng was complaining, he quite enjoyed the live action movie of the old TV series. Yuta eventually called Rin into his room for his nap time, tucking the boy into his racecar bed and giving him his Coon. Sicheng tried not to squeal at the cute sight as Yuta led him out of Rin's room. Unbeknownst to Yuta, Sicheng had snapped a few pictures throughout the day, starting with the waffles and the dog, and ending with Rin's sleeping face. Sicheng pulled out his cracked iPhone and opened the camera once again, snapping a picture of Yuta's back as he washed the dishes.

"Sicheng, we really need to talk." Yuta sighed. He had been avoiding the topic for as long as possible, but with Rin taking a nap, he had the perfect opportunity to talk with the boy. Sicheng put his phone down and nodded for Yuta to continue.

"Do you want to die?" He asked, hands hidden under the dirty water in the sink. Sicheng jumped up on the counter next to him, staring into space thoughtfully.

"No, I really don't." He finally said, breaking his staring contest with the ceiling. "Honestly, I can't even call what I do 'suicidal tendencies.' I don't know if you'll understand or not, but there is a difference between self-harm and suicidal tendencies. There's a very thin line between the two, but it's still there. My intentions are to feel, not kill. I take my emotional pain and turn it into something I can actually handle, physical pain. I'm sure you know how much worse emotional pain is than physical. You can't put a band-aid on your heart, ya know?" Sicheng looked over at Yuta, who had stopped washing the dishes to listen to him better.

"What's it like?" Yuta asked breathlessly, desperately trying to comprehend Sicheng's feelings and words.

"Well, I could use drowning, but that's not quite right. At least not for me. I'd say it's more like a circle. You have a steady routine; same major feelings, same people, same places. But the minute something changes negatively, it ruins your circle. Whether it be some type of abuse, new school, betrayal. Most are easily fixed, your circle will be bent but not broken, not yet at least. It's common physics, if you bend something far enough, it'll break. The harming part is almost like fixing the circle. It's the one thing at that moment that is routine for you, that's familiar to you, something that never changes." Sicheng sighed tiredly. "My circle has been okay lately. Anytime it feels bent or close to breaking, I just come here and you fix it. Even if you don't realize it, you really complete my circle, Yuta." Sicheng smiled at the man he'd never thought he'd meet. In the moments since he'd met Yuta, he'd had such strong feelings. Sicheng could never label them, there were no words that could properly describe them. Yuta stared at Sicheng with that look in his eyes, the look that makes someone feel like the most important person in the world. The look that makes someone's eyes light up and cheeks flush. The look that didn't spark, but sparkle like they were looking at the most dazzling star in the Galaxy.

"I love you, Nakamoto Yuta," Sicheng whispered, gazing into the eyes that held so much love.

"I love you more, Dong Sicheng."

The two stayed with each other in the kitchen, the dishes were long forgotten as they showed their love through lips and tongues. Unlike their first kiss, however, this one was laced with pure love. Even when Yuta's hands slipped into Sichengs sweatpants and the boy's hands made their way up the older's shirt, the love remained. Lust was not their goal, sexual pleasure was not their top priority. At that moment, the only goal they had was to express their feelings and show how much they loved each other.
