Lily wasn't mad about her hair. She wasn't mad about being stuffed into a trunk with bullet holes on the ride to her new prison. She wasn't even the tiniest bit mad at Fiona for breaking her heart, even if she wasn't even sure what her feelings for Klaus where exactly. And it was driving both Olaf and Esme crazy. Exactly what Lily wanted.
In there angry shouts, Lily had picked up a street name, another city name, and the name of a beach. She tried coming up with an escape plan, but she needed to get her hands on a map, and she was locked in a room she suspected the Baudelaire orphans had stayed in, based on the grappling hook she was sure Violet made and teeth marks in the floor that matched ones that were made by Sunny. Fiona visited her often enough that she felt she could trust her, despite the sting of jealousy she felt. She came up with a new plan, but she would have to word her requests extremely well if she was going to get her plan in action.
"You're extremely quite today." Fiona said, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"It just dawned on me that my Aunt wouldn't have any idea why or how I disappeared. Just what she can speculate." Fiona didn't speak. She just sat there and thought back to when her brother did the same thing. And then her stepfather.
"People do that sometimes. The Baudelaire orphans have probably told her what happened." But Lily found she hit a soft spot in Fiona.
"We argued beforehand about my parents death. She knows I'm angry at her still because she's the first person I thought to call and she thought I was lying about my house being on fire. I just want to tell her I'm not mad. If anything, I just want her to know I'm alright." Tears formed in Lily's eyes again, but instead of crying she just buried her head in her legs. She wasn't ready to shed any more tears.
"You write the letter, I'll take care of the rest."
"Thanks Fiona. You don't know how much this means to me."
"Don't thank me yet. I still need to get it past Olaf and Esme. So no funny business, if you can help it?"
"I'll try my best." Fiona got her a piece of paper and a pen. Wiping away a tear, Lily began to write her letter, and she came up with something clever enough to hopefully fool Olaf.
"Alright. I'll try and get this to the post office. I'll try Lily, I promise." Fiona and Lily shook on it. Then as soon as she was alone, Lily went back to thinking of an escape plan.
