Fiona thought over what Lily had said. She knew as soon as Olaf had a way to get their fortunes, the three orphans in the room where as good as gone. She could, just maybe, find a solution by finding out who Lily refused to talk about. She was no detective, but with what knowledge she had, she knew how to look into Lily's past.

And what she found was confusing.

Apparently Lily wasn't an only child. Trevor Shade, a man in his mid twenties, was in the Amazon, using their fortune to help the less fortunate. And, what Fiona found through the clues hidden in the newspaper articles in the public library, he was keeping alive VFD after the skirmish. She admitted to herself that she was amazed. Keeping a hidden organization alive took a lot of hard work. Olaf could never find out about Trevor Shade.

Meanwhile, Lily, Klaus, and Quigley were formulating their own plan of escape. Again.

"You didn't make any plan before the last time? That honestly shocks me Klaus." Lily said as she tapped against her leg, a habit she picked up from her stay with Olaf.

"I don't know what I was thinking. You both were right. I should have had a plan before I came here."

"The important thing is that we're all fine." Lily gave the two of them a hug, and whispered, "Now let's think of a way out. Any tunnels underground, any secret rooms, any way to distract Olaf and his troupe would be helpful."

"There's a tunnel in his kitchen." Quigley said in thought. "I saw the VFD insignia."

"Where would that take us?"

"It would take us many places, the signs would guide us."

"You've been down there before?"

"It's how I survived the fire that burned my house to the ground."

"Did you see the Shade exit?"

"Yes, there were two of them." Klaus looked at Lily in curiosity, but she only bit her lip in thought and concentration.

"That only leaves getting to the kitchen. Olaf is usually in his tower room and Esme can be heard screaming at the theater troupe, so we can evade them easily after we get out of this room."

"And how do we get out of this room?" Klaus asked. Lily looked at him with sad eyes, and was about to tell him what he already knew when a sudden creak of the door startled the three of them.

"Lily, we need to talk." Fiona said seriously, holding three small sandwiches on a tray.

"About what?"

"I know about Trevor." Lily gasped while Klaus and Quigley stood in confusion behind her.

"If you tell Olaf, I won't rest until you're ripped apart limb from limb, even if I have to do it myself."

"I was never planning on it. I suppose Klaus never told you what I did for his family when they where captured by Olaf?"

"She let us escape." Klaus said. Understanding filled his eyes. "You're letting us escape?"

"Ai. I'm not letting Olaf get his hands on your fortunes this easily, or at all if it can be helped. What's your plan?"

"We need to get to the kitchen."

"Hide in the closet across the hall, I'll distract them." As the three orphans hid, Fiona screamed for help. However, Klaus was thinking more about this mysterious Trevor, and how protective Lily was about him.

"Whose Trevor?"

"Please keep your voice down Klaus."

"Fine, but who--"

"I'll tell you in the tunnels." Lily whispered urgently as they heard footsteps approach.

"Where did those orphans go?!" Olaf yelled angrily.

"They where heading to the backyard, sir. I came in with lunch, and they ambushed me." Lily and Klaus shared a look in the dark. It was almost as though Fiona saw her future and decided to change it.

"And you saw them run that way?"

"Ai."

"Let's get them then. They couldn't have gotten far! Esme and I will stay up in the tower, the rest of you go find them, and bring Shade to me." The three of them stood there and waited until the footsteps disappeared. Lily opened the door a little and saw they were alone.

"Let's get out of here."
