"Ethan is-", I began again and took a look at Ray's text.
Cuz Ray😜: Don't tell Jules who Ethan is!
Me: Why?
Cuz Ray😜: Cos I said so?
Me: That explains nothing. I am telling.
Cuz Ray😜: Ok, if you help me this time,
I'll give you my secret stash of candy.
Me: It's not enough.
Cuz Ray😜: It's my lifetime savings!
Me: Don't care. I'm telling.
" Ethan is what?", Jules asked.
I looked at the nerd table and spotted Raymond.
Why is he hiding?
He was glaring at me.
Cuz Ray😜: On second thought, if you don't help me I will tell Kally about your secret crush and how you-
Me: Okay! Okay! I will do it. BTW you are good at negotiating.
Cuz Ray😜: I learn from the best.
He does learn from the best though.
One day with uncle Leon and you will be the best at negotiating.
And an incredibly big miser.
I put my phone away.
"Ethan is held up because of um...bad weather. Yes! Bad weather", I lied through my teeth.
Raymond was going to pay for this.
" Well I hope he is alright", Jules said sarcastically with hate in her eyes.
Does she still hate Ethan?
What question is that, it's obvious!
Well, she never believes me when I tell her that Ethan is not at fault for what happened 7 years ago.
No one misunderstands as much as she does.

"So why won't you tell Jules that you are Ethan?"
"Why ask when it's so obvious? Dude she looked like she wanted to look for me and shoot me! It seems like the misunderstanding has not been cleared yet", Raymond sighed.
I shook my head.
" It hasn't."
Raymond sighed again.
I understand why he does not want Jules to find out that he is Ethan.
Not after what happened 7 years ago.
"So how was the plane ride. I doubt that the weather was bad. And why didn't you call me to pick you from the airport?"
"We're late!", he ignored my question.
" We're late! We're late! Coach is going to kill us", he chanted.
"You the new guy, seem to know Coach more than I do", I stated.
He ignored my statement, grabbed me by the arm and began pulling me to the gym.
" Wait! My water bottle!", I yelled but he didn't listen.
"You are late!", Coach Suarez yelled at us as soon as we arrived at the gym.
" Yes Coach, we-", I was cut off by Ray.
" Sorry Coach. It was my mistake! I am new here, please give me whatever punishment you deem fit!"
" Run 50 laps around the court and 30 push-ups when you're done!", Coach ordered.
I caught up with Ray on the court and looked up at him.
"That went alright", I said sarcastically.
" Hey, don't blame me. I thought he would let me off since I am new. I didn't
know that he would really punish me", Ray shrugged.
I guess he doesn't know Coah more than me after all.
I nodded.
"That's understandable. You can't really expect anything when it comes to Coach Suarez."
"Why didn't you tell me that earlier?", Ray asked.
" Why didn't you call me to pick you up from the airport?", I also inquired.
"Touché", he said then he stopped and looked at Jules and Kally warming up.
" If I told you to come pick me up, Jules would have come along".
"True", I agreed after thinking about it for sometime.
" I am going to try and get along with Jules. If not as Ethan then as Raymond",
Ray vowed.

During music class, Raymond kept on pranking Jules.
If this was his way of 'getting along with Jules', it was not working.
Meanwhile, some arrogant wussy was trying to hit on Kally and she was falling for it.
Argh!!
Why is she so dumb sometimes, not that it's bugging me or anything, but she's my best friend.
If I don't care, who will?
Yeah. That's definitely the reason why I am glaring at the dude right now.
"Jules, Think fast!", Ray whisper shouted and threw a fake lizard at Jules.
But Jules didn't know it was fake and neither did the others around her.
She caught it at first, then let it go in fear.
Everyone around that space ran helter-skelter.
" RAYMOND!!", she called out.
He batted his eyelashes innocently at her.
Fortunately, the lizard landed on the scared thighs of the dude who tried to hit on Kally.
Unfortunately, Ray and Jules were dismissed from the class with Jules shooting extinction glares at Ray.
Ray used his charms to convince Miss Lora to pardon them and she did.
"You can thank me later", he whispered to Jules.
" You wish", she responded harshly.
A few minutes later, Ray was at it again.
"RAYMOND!!", Jules screamed.
I am starting to think he wants her to hate him instead of like him.
Or was there a method he was using that I wasn't aware of?
" Miss Cresswell and Mister McCarthy!
OUT NOW!!"
Maybe not.
"So much for thanking you, 'sun Ray' ", Jules scoffed as the headed out of the class.
" You know you can thank me later", Ray offered.
"No thanks, every time you say that sentence, bad things happen".
