Jules's P. O. V.
I was walking through the hallway when I bumped into someone.
Raymond.
His phone fell out of his hands and my purse fell to the ground.
"Sorry, I'm really sorry", he apologized helping me pick up my purse from the floor.
He looked up and realised it was me.
" Oh, it is you, Jules."
Just then, a voice from his phone said, "Young master, are you there? What is going on?"
It seems like he was on a phone call with someone.
His smile just erased from his face.
He immediately picked his phone from the floor and stood up.
"Just a moment, Buck", he said to the person on the phone.
Then he turned his attention to me and plastered a fake smile on his face.
He looked strangely tensed.
" I can see that your phone screen is cracked. I will compensate you. Let's talk later", he offered.
And before I could tell him that there was no need for compensation, he was off.
"Speak up Buck. What is wrong with nana?", that was the last thing I heard him say before he disappeared at the end of the hallway.
Okay, that was weird.
Extremely weird.
For the first time, Ray looked so serious and tensed.
He was always silly and carefree but he looked as if the weight of the world had just been dumped on his shoulders.
I'm not worried or anything like that.
We're not even friends.
I'm just curious.
And that name, Buck...
Why does it sound so...familiar?
I continued to walk unconsciously until I arrived at the washroom.
I was brought back to Earth when I heard a loud noise from the restroom.
" Why should I explain what was going on to you. Are you my new mother? Or maybe not, you can't act like a mother when you've never had one!", the male shouted harshly.
The female winced.
"You don't mean that!"
Kallista?
" Oh, but I do!"
Jazlyn?
What was this all about?
They were so busy yelling at each other that they didn't notice my presence at the door.
"How does it matter!", Jaz yelled so loud that I flinched.
" It does matter!", Kally screamed back.
Thank God everyone was in the cafeteria, otherwise, a crowd would have formed already.
"You behaved oddly since yesterday. And now you're kissing Rona?"
Did he kiss the wench?
Not cool dude, not cool.
"I didn't kiss her, she kissed me!"
"It doesn't matter! You kissed her back!
So what? Are you a player now?"
