Kally's P. O. V.
I ran as fast as my legs could take me.
"You can run but you can't hide!"
I hid behind my bedroom door listening to the creepy footsteps of my assailant.
I shivered biting my lower lip to try and stop the tears from pouring out.
I couldn't take it anymore!
It had to stop!
It had gone on for about 10 years and counting.
I couldn't handle the pain anymore.
I needed someone to rely on.
The door to my room opened slowly, making a creaky sound.
His head poked inside first, then his whole body followed.
"I said you can run but you can't hide, darling!"
I came out from behind the door and before he could say "Jack!", I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and hit him on the head with a rolling pin.
He collapsed on the ground.
I flipped my hair and dropped the rolling pin.
" I don't plan on hiding anymore."

I span my chair around thinking deeply.
I glanced at my wall again.
I began to connect the dots together.
Those black puppy eyes.
The birthmark behind his left ear.
That husky voice.
His relationship with Jaz.
And lastly that golden chain he always wears on his left hand.
Even though no one took notice of it, I did.
I took my phone and called him.
He picked after the first ring.
"Hello? Kally, please talk in a low voice Jules is lying beside me, " he whispered.
"What is she doing with you? Did you-"
"No! I didn't dare take advantage of her when she was drunk, I promise! I just happened to fall asleep beside her", he defended himself.
I sighed and smiled.
Something I have found difficult to do in a while.
" I believe you."
"You do?", he asked, shocked.
I laughed out loud. " Yeah, why?"
"Well most of the time, all you and Jules do is misunderstand me."
And I am sorry about that.
"You know what? Let's meet up. Meet me at Bonjour cafe in 10 minutes."
"Why should I?", he asked me.
I smiled and span my chair around.
" Because I know that the E in your name stands for Ethan, Raymond."

I got up from my chair, walked to the door of my room and looked down at the man who I had gagged and tied up
with ropes...My 10 year long assaulter.
He had gained consciousness and he looked up at me.
I kicked him in the stomach and wiggled my nose in disgust.
"I'm tired of you and your old man! I've had enough torture from you guys!", I told him.
I looked at his tied up hands and noticed that he had a knife and was trying to cut the ropes.
I bent down, took the knife from his hands, and threw it across the room.
" Don't even try! You know what, the fact that I can't report you and your old man to the cops right now doesn't mean that I won't do it eventually."
I raised his chin up so he could look into my eyes.
"And when I do, I promise you...You and your wretched old man will be spending the rest of your miserable lives in jail! Or even better, a jail with a psychiatric hospital attached to it. Because that's what you need."
I stood up and walked out of the room closing the door behind me.
"Oh, and relay my message to your drunken old man when he comes back."
And with that, I was gone.

I was surprised to see Ray already seated, waiting for me when I entered the cafe.
I went over to his table and took a seat.
" How did you find out?", Ray asked me as soon I was seated.
"Hello to you too, Ray. And to answer your question, it wasn't that hard to find out. Plus, you still wear that golden chain your grandmother gave you."
"Yeah but Jules hasn't noticed yet", he said and I laughed.
" You should know Jules by now. She is a very complicated female who is oblivious to what goes on around her. She is a hard nut to crack and she loves judging people without listening to their side of the story."
"You are right though, but aren't you supposed to be her best friend?", he asked me frowning.
My smile became even larger.
" I am her best friend, that's why I stay by her side even with all her flaws", I explained.
He nodded,"That's true."
"So now that you know that I'm Ethan, why don't I tell you what Jaz and I have discovered about the events that happened 7 years ago."
I listened attentively as Ray told me all about Reed James Finger.
So Jules's discovery was right.
Everything about Reed is fake, even his face, appearance and name.
Ray also told me about how his butler abroad, Buck was no longer reachable. And about the name 'Stew Andus'. He also mentioned that the reason why they hosted the pool party was to lure Miguel Gonzalez aka Reed's boss.
"Did it work? Did you catch his boss?", I asked him interested.
" No, his boss didn't appear. And he spent the whole night with Rona Peck."
"Rona?", I asked again just to be sure.
He nodded.
Rona again?
" That's weird", I said in a low voice but he heard it anyway.
"Isn't it?"
