Ray's P. O. V.
"I'm so exhausted"
Jules slumped back in the chair beside me and sighed.
I closed my book too and took a good look at her.
"Let's go."
I took her by the arm and pulled her from her chair, out of the library.
"Where are we going? My books! My bag!", she whisper shouted because we were in a library full of students reading and studying their hearts out.
The library was crowded because we were in the examination week.
It was funny to watch.
Really.
I pulled Jules close to me with a few eyes on us.
"Ray, I need to get my bag, and my books and it's examination week so I need to learn and-"
I pulled her chin up so she was looking directly into my eyes.
"You've learnt enough! Do you trust me?"
She hesitated, then nodded slowly, "Yes."
"Yes. Strangely enough, I do."

"Are you sure about this?"
I nodded.
"I am sure. It relieves stress", I put the can of paint in her hands.
I looked around to see if anyone was with us.
We were alone.
But it was only a matter of time before Miguel Gonzalez's men appeared.
Yeah, you guessed right.
Miguel Gonzalez aka Reed hired men to pose as high school students and keep an eye on us.
He said and I quote, "Get rid of their tiny asses when no one's watching. And that guy, Ethan...Make his death a memorable one."
How do I know exactly what he said?
I also placed a spy in the company of his men.
I'm way smarter than that criminal thinks I am.
Way smarter.
Miguel said," Get rid of their tiny asses when no one's watching."
When no one is watching.
So that basically meant that Jaz and I had to make sure Jules and Kally were always in a crowd of people wherever they were.
Smart right?
But where Jules and I decided to relieve stress, there was no one else so that meant that we could have been killed anytime from then.
I was willing to take the risk just to help Jules relieve stress.
But I don't know if Jules was.
"But isn't it illegal?", Jules asked me awakening me from my thoughts.
"It isn't illegal. Stop misunderstanding I rented the wall", I wanted to say.
But instead, I say, " It may be illegal but it sure is fun."
Just to sound cool.
Then we started painting the wall.
Graffiti, you may call it.
"You are right. This is fun!"
For a moment I got lost in her eyes.
It was like walking through a forest.
Her smile just pulled me to her like a magnet.
That's what only her smile did to me.
So you could imagine what I felt when she laughed.
I shouldn't have let my guard down because as I looked over Jules's shoulders, I saw three of Miguel's men walking towards us with speed.
I began packing the cans of spray paint but before I knew it the men were behind us.
I put the bag filled with cans of spray paint down.
"Hello, sir. Sorry sir", I sprayed paint in their eyes and covered Jules eyes when she turned to see who I was talking to.
" Run!", I yelled pulling her with me.
She tried to turn but I ordered, "Don't turn!"
"Who are those people? Are they the owners of the wall?", Jules asked trying to run at my pace.
I pondered over it for a second.
" Yes! Yes, they are", I lied visibly.
But it was not visible to her.
I remembered what Kally said.
"She's oblivious to what is going on around her."
I let out a loud laugh.
She was right.
Kally was so right.
"How can you laugh in this situation?", Jules scolded me.
" It funny don't you think?"
Her facial expression said a big "NO!"
"What about the paint!", she inquired.
I looked at her and smiled.
" Later! I'll figure something out later!"
She finally began to run at my pace.
Her tiny legs are a shortcoming.
I felt something brush against my skin then I felt Jules hold my hand.
She squeezed and I squeezed back.
She smiled at me as we run, the three men trailing behind.
"Whooo!"
This was it, wasn't it?
I looked at Jules and smiled.
I had finally gained her trust.
Trust can't be kept for long.
But I didn't know that then.
