A/N Ashton comes in, in this chapter! :) P.s. I'm skipping to a few months later.

Zoey's POV

2 months of summer fun and now it's time for hell to begin. I got up to get ready for my first day of school at a new place. Luckily, my new bff, Copeland, has all but two of the same classes as me. And she is going there with me! Last night, Copeland spent the night so we could choose first day outfits and head into school together.

"Copeland, get your ass up!" I said as I jumped on top of her to wake her up. She is such a deep sleeper. There could be sirens blowing in her ears while a tornado was hitting our house and she still wouldn't wake up. It took me about 5 minutes to get Cope actually awake. But getting her out of bed would probably take another 10 minutes.

"Okay, I'm up. Now, can you please get off of me? I'd greatly appareciate that." She said with a low, sleepy voice while lightly hitting me.

"I don't know, I'm actually pretty comfortable."

"Zoey, if you don't get off of me, I will throw your ass off of me and onto the floor." I laughed as I got up off of Copeland to go get ready. Cope hopped into the shower while I did my makeup.

I took a shower last night and braided my hair to get long pretty waves in my hair. I put on my mascara and a little eyeliner then took my braid out of my hair. Once I felt satisfied with my look, I went downstairs to get me and Cope breakfast. Another thing about Cope, she takes the longest freaking showers.
When I got downstairs, my mom had already cooked a huge breakfast for us.

"Mom, you do realize it's the first day of school, and not Thanksgiving, right?" I asked as I laughed and mom rolled her eyes.

"Yes honey, I'm aware of that. It's your first day of Junior year, I wanted to cook you a good meal." My mom has always been so thoughtful. One of the greatest things my mom has is a great heart.

"Yeah, but the first day isn't that important. All they are going to do is give us syllabus and tell us the rules of the classes and any other new things about the school." I said. It was true. The first day of school was always the easiest. All you have to do is listen to the teacher tell you the new things about the school and the rules of their class. 9 out of 10 times we really don't do work the first day.

"Well, you may meet new friends sweetie. But you also maybe surprised. Now that you're older, they may start making you do work on the first day." I thanked my mom for cooking us
breakfast and sat down next to my little sister. I never realized how hungry I was, until I smelt the delicious smells of bacon and eggs fill up my nostrils. I started scarfing down food like I was a hungry caveman who hasn't eaten in weeks.

"Dang Zoebug, you hungry?" Copeland laughed as she came down the stairs and sat next to me. I nodded my head since my mouth was full of delicious nourishment. It was about 20 minutes later when all of us finished eating and it was time to go to school.

"Can't believe my little girl is going into 11th grade." My dad said as he pretendeed to wipe away a tear off of his cheek.

"Pictures! We need pictures!" My mom yelled as she came sprinting out of the kitchen with her Sony photography camera. It was a really good camera. It showed every feature on a person and it was very sharp quality.

Gracie and I were up first. I got down to her level and wrapped both of my arms around her tiny waste. Next it was individuals. Then it was me and Cope. Luckily, me and Cope were the same height. So we took a basic white girl picture where we are hugging eachother. We took several more pictures until my mother was satishfied with all of the pictures.

"Bye Cope and Zoebug! Love you guys. Have a great day!" My mom said as she kissed both of our foreheads and smiled at us with her bright beautiful smile. Cope has become apart of the family. Since the first day we moved here, we've become really close. She's either been at my house or I've been at her place. And now my family just considers her family.
