A/N I was having really bad writers block when I wrote this, sorry! It sucks really bad .-.

Zoey's POV

I woke up to my alarm clock beeping indicating it was time to get ready for school. After I saw Ashton and gave him a hug, I ran away from him. I'm not really sure why I did, but it happened. The rest of my Sunday was spent catching up on homework and helping Gracie learn how to read. She's only 6 years old. They don't learn until they are about 7 or 8. But I want her to learn early, she could be ahead of her class if she does.

I turned on some music before I headed into the shower. The song 'Down to Earth' by Justin Bieber came on. I can't really relate to the song, considering my parents aren't divorced. But I love the song so much. After I got out of the shower I picked out a cute but simple outfit. I had on a white tank top with a hot pink kimono that had a purple and black floral print on it. Along with black jean shorts and black sandals. When I got out of my bathroom, I come into my room to see my sister in my room just looking at her surroundings.

"Gracie, what in the world are you doing?" I said as I sat on my bed next to her.

"I was wondering if you could help me pick something out to wear. Daddy left for work and mommy doesn't feel good." She said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me to her room.
"What's wrong with mom?" I asked. It's unusual for my mom to not feel good. She rarely gets sick.

"She said something having a really bad headache." Gracie said. I picked out a cute outfit and curled my sister's hair. Unlike my natural wavy/ curly hair, she has naturally straight hair. I also made her some breakfast and then went to go check up on my mom.
I knocked on my mom's door lightly, so I wouldn't interrupt her. "Mom, it's Zoey. Are you okay?"

I opened the door and my mom was asleep in her bed. I went over to her and kissed her forehead anf started walking away. Something caught my eye as I was passing her desk. She had a calendar on her desk that had every single thing we are doing in the next few months. I shouldn't snoop around, but I was curious. I looked throughout this month and at the end of the month, it said doctors appointment. If I had a doctors appointment this month, my mom would tell me. Gracie doesn't have a doctors appointment until October. And neither of my parents go to the doctor. I started getting this bad gut feeling, but I blew it off and told myself it's just for a checkup or whatever.

I got Gracie all ready for school and waited outside for the bus with her. I offered to drive her, but she loves riding the bus.

"Zoebug, are you okay?" Gracie asked out of nowhere.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be Gracie?"

"I was looking around your room. And you still have pictures of Jason. You don't need those anymore. They are only going to make you feel sad." She maybe 6 years old, but she's pretty damn smart.

"I know. Do you miss him?" I asked. Jason and Gracie were super close. She was like his little sister, and he was like her big brother.

"I do sometimes. As mommy likes to say, everything happens for a reason." And as soon as she said that, the bus arrived. She wrapped her little arms around my waist and got on the bus.
I got in my car, blasted music and thought about what my sister said as I drove to school.

It's 1st period and what do you know? Mr.Irwin isn't here. That's a total shocker. My teacher was talking about some assignment we have to do soon when the door to the theatre slammed open. Showing none than the other, Ashton Irwin.

"How nice of you to join us, Ashton. Please take a seat." Ms. Jackson said as Ashton walked down near the class. He looked at me with a pissed off look and then looked away. After Sunday, I thought maybe he was going to change. Guess I stand corrected.
