Onyx's eyes slowly peeled open at
the pain that formed in his chest.
He scowled and
stared at the white lion
with bloody tears.
Alice stood her ground
slowly returned to her Human form.
Onyx opened his mouth to say something
but something blocked his vocals and
Alice turned to the lion.
"Onyx will be fine
if I leave, correct?" she asked and
the lion grinned madly,
the blood stopping.
"He will be fine.
No harm will come to him
if you come under
my protection." it said and
Onyx's eyes widen.
Alice looked down at her feet and
then folded her arms across her chest.
"No.
I will
not
leave Onyx
all alone.
He is
my Contractor and
for that
I will
not
let him deal with
pain or loss." Alice said.
Onyx blinked and
stared at her then
the lion scowled,
the bloody tears flowing again.
'"You are both betrayers.
You will never see the Mirror again and
he will never see the Human World again.
You both will regret this decision." it said then
disappeared into a dark portal,
leaving them to deal with the crumbling buildings.
