Onyx ignored the little voice
in his head
that told him to tell Alice
about her Human death.
He scowled and
Alice poked him
in the back and
he jumped up.
She smiled and
he turned to her with
a weird look
in his eyes.
"So Onyx," she said,
"How are we going
to find the others?"
He shrugged and
turned another corner
then stopped dead
at the sight of blood splattered
across the wooden floor that said
'THE BLACK KNIGHT
WILL BE THE
DEATH
OF
YOU'.
He turned back to Alice
and grabbed her hand,
pulling her away
from the bloody scene.
"Let's go.
I think they're
over in
the other direction." he said then
she narrowed her eyes,
releasing herself
from his grasp.
"Why are you
over there?
Is something over there
not right or
frightening you?" she asked him and
his eyes widen.
"Whatever it is,
I'll go and
check it out." she said and
started walking over there.
He grabbed her arm and
pulled her into his chest.
Her eyes widen and
blushed.
"Onyx..." she said and
looked up to his eyes.
They were full
of
concern and
worry.
"Alice...
please don't
leave
face
the darkness." he said and
then kissed her.
