Envy!!

After a while of running, I heard Envy scream in pain and more tears welled in my eyes. I bolted in the direction of the cry, That's when I heard footsteps coming towards me. I stopped and quickly turned the corner, looking around. Then my eyes fell on a figure emitting red sparks. It was Envy. I stopped suddenly, my boots squeaked on the floor. Envy's head snapped towards me, panicked, then his face lightened. he rushed to me, grabbing my arm and pulling me into a random hallway. 

I ran in front of him and he stopped. "E-Envy.." I managed to mutter, more tears began falling again and I buried my head in his chest. "Why.." I muttered. "Why did you kill Hughes?!" I cried. "I had to...I-I'm so sorry Mira," He stuttered. I sobbed, Hitting my fist into his chest. The other arm was around his waist. "Why did you have to k-kill him?! He didn't deserve to die!" I Nearly screamed. Envy wrapped comforting arms around me, and I clenched the fabric of his crop top in my fist.  Envy looked down at me. "W-well, Father would've killed me if I didn't." He said, which caused me to cry even more. What he said about killing Hughes made me see it in a totally different way. "D-did you get any satisfaction out of it?" I muttered. Envy started trembling. "N-No! Of course not! you know I'm not like that...I knew he was a good man, and I knew that he had a family. I-I tried to reason with father, but he told me that I'd end up like Greed. dead." he stuttered. I could tell that he meant what he said. I hugged him tightly. After a bit, we heard footsteps coming towards us. "Envy, You coward! Show yourself!" Envy's eyes widened in fear at Mustang's yell and I grabbed his hand, running. I hid Envy in a dark hall and looked up at him, since he was about 8 inches taller than me. I look the collar of his crop top and pulled gently. His eyes widened and he chucked when he realized that I wanted him to bend down a bit. He bent down to that he was only a bit taller than me. "What do you want shortie?" He said, smiling at me. I gave him an annoyed look and he smirked. Oh, I'll get you back boy. I thought, and with that, I booped his nose violently. He blinked at me, Surprised then he did something unexpected.

Envy's POV

I wrapped my arms around Mira. She looked up at me from my chest. Her emerald green  eyes met mine. I tried to hide my blush. "You're so Amazing" I muttered, Hugging her again. "I missed you Envy. I never forgot about you....d-did you forget about me?" She asked, I pulled out of my hug and took her face in my hands, laughing while tears fell down my face. "Forget you!?! How could I!? Mira, You changed my Life!" She laughed and smiled, tears threatening to fall from her face. I wiped them away. "I'm going to go distract Roy, stay here."  I nodded, and her hand slipped from mine as she disappeared from the hall.

I heard footsteps and I recognized them. Hawkeye. I thought. I shape shifted into Mustang and walked out from my hiding spot, she aimed her gun at me and I aimed my fingers at her. "Lieutenant. I thought I told you to stay back?" Lowering my hand. "I couldn't stay behind and let you do all of the fighting. I'm sorry colonel." She apologized. I sighed.  "Let's go find Envy." I said, and I began walking. i glanced back to see a gun to my head. I put my hands up and spoke in an annoyed tone. "What are you doing Lieutenant?" I asked. behind me, She smirked. " I know that you're not the colonel. Because wen we're alone, The Colonel calls me by my first name, Riza!" Damn it. I thought, I said, jumping away from her and transforming back. "Close, Are you?" I asked. "I lied." My eyes widened and she shot me multiple times. I growled."Damn it! That hurt!" I extended my arm and grabbed her, slamming her into the ground. "I'll dump you at his feet! Like a rag!" I growled. 

A burning sensation filled my body, burning horribly. I cried out and pain. When it stopped, I panted, sitting up while regenerating. Mustang glared down at me. "What the Hell were you doing to my lieutenant?" He asked, outraged. "Stay back, Lieutenant." I stared up at him in fear, then growled. "You damn human! Don't you underestimate-" I was stopped as Mustang burned me again. I cried in pain. this time his burning was constant. The snapping wouldn't stop. I could tell that my stone was running out, but I was too weak to stand. Through my pain, I managed to scream one thing. "Mira!!!!!" And Everything went black.

Mira's POV

I heard Envy's scream and ran in the direction of the cry. No! Roy couldn't have found him! I ran then skidded to a halt as I saw his disintegrating body bent backwards. I watched in horror, tears threatening to fall. That's when I saw it; A small, green, lizard-like creature crawling out of Envy's skull. When Envy's body was gone, the creature fell, walking across the floor slowly. "Damn it...This again?" It muttered in a high pitched voice. I stared at it, trying to figure out what it was and Why it was in Envy, and that's when it hit me, that creature was Envy-and Roy just stomped on him. I watched helplessly, out of view.  Riza came in, aiming her gun at him. "I'm going to ask you to stop, Colonel." Ed, who was joined by Scar, used alchemy to free Envy from under Roy's foot. He caught him in his hand. Envy looked at him, then at everyone else. "You guys are making me sick to my stomach. Are you humans always such pathetic worms? Why can't you just listen to your gut and do what you want to? Colonel Mustang...Have you forgotten? Your pal Scar here was trying to kill you! And what's more, isn't he the one that killed the parents of the pipsqueak's girlyfriend? Oh yeah! And what about that girl who became a chimera? Scar was responsible for her death too! And as for you..Have you forgotten what they did to your ishbalen countrymen? And then this woman! The has the arrogance to claim the sight of a hawk! She shot your buddies left and right! You'll never get another chance! This is the perfect time! The Ultimate opportunity! Hate and weep! Kill or be killed! Fight each other! rumble in the dirt! How can you four hope to team up? You're way beyond the point of kissing and making up, Right Mira? Pipsqueak? Hawkeye? Mustang? Scar?! How....How could you do it...How?!" He cried. We all watched silently, until Ed spoke. "now I see, You're jealous...You're jealous of humans..aren't you? We humans, according to you, were supposed to be nothing when compared to homunculi. and yet, when we're beaten down, when we stray and fall....we face the challenge again and again. Our loved ones are always there to pick us back up. And you're jealous... you envy us because of that." With that, Envy burst into sobs. "Damn! Damn it! Damn it! I've been humiliated... Humiliated!!! Me, Envy, jealous of you...of you humans? I'm a homunculus! How can this pipsqueak kid see through me! It's the ultimate Humiliation!" He sobs, but then, he starts chuckling, sitting back. "I guess we'll just have to see how long this adorable little alliance can hold up! oh well...Best of luck with that Pipsqueak!" He began removing his Philosopher's stone. "Envy no!" I cried, running to him. I fell to my knees and scooped him up, holding him in my hands. He started crying even more, his little hands holding onto his stone. I pushed the stone back onto his body. "You can't leave me like this, Envy! I love you and you know that! I need you! You-You can't die!" I cried. Envy cried harder and hugged my finger, I held him close to my face.  Everyone looked at me in shock. "Roy, Please let me keep him with me!" Roy looked at me, concerned. "Mira. leave him. He doesn't deserve to live. Just let him die." I sobbed. "My father would've wanted this, Roy. I know it!" I said. Roy stared at me, shocked, then Scar came over to me. I watched him as he put his hand on my shoulder. "Take him and get out of here. It's not safe for you." He looked at Envy and I and smiled slightly. "Thank you.." I said, smiling back. We bid our farewell and went our seperate ways. "Lets get you a body, I think I saw some of those monsters around here somewhere," I said, smiling. He nodded and we went off.
