I woke up to Pride and Wrath cuddled up next to me, and Envy gone. Sun was shining through the window and I slowly sat up, careful not to wake the sleeping children. I walked out of the room and into the quiet living room. There was no one around. Did he go out? I thought to myself. The floor was cold on my feet and I looked to a clock. It read 7:45. I started to get worried on where he was. "Envy?" I asked quietly. I heard movement behind me but saw nothing. I turned back around to see Envy standing right in front of me. I yelped and fell backwards, but Envy shape shifted his arm to catch me. " Envy! you scared the hell out of me!" I yelped Quietly. He kept a cold face, sending quick glances toward the clock. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Envy are you okay?" I asked quietly. He looked to me and glared. Okay, He's fine.. I thought. The brisk air causing me to shiver and again, He instantly saw it. He picked me up and slung me over his shoulder, his arm wrapped partially around my waist. He set down the hall. I blushed. It was weird feeling his arm around my waist, And why the hell did he have to pick me up?

I was startled when Envy brought be down from his shoulder and held me like you'd hold a toddler. His arm under my thighs, Supporting me and the other hand on my back. He held me against him for about 5 minutes then opened the door to his bedroom and went in. He closed the door and walked over to the large bed. He pulled back the covers, laid me down, and covered me. I was instantly greeted with warmth and looked into Envy's eyes. For once, there was no insanity, evil, jealousy, Or hatred in them. What was in them was care. He looked down at me with a caring look. I sat up and he went to tell me to lay back down, But I put my finger to his Lips. I patted the spot next to me and Envy nodded, Laying down next to me. We sat there for about an hour we heard little voices coming from my room. Envy and I looked at each other, Then Envy got up, picking me up like a toddler again. I cuddled into his body without thinking.

We went to my room and saw Wrath and Pride looking for me. Envy put me down. "I'm right here you two," I said, Smirking. The boys turned to me and Smiled, Hugging me. I smiled down at them. I've only been here for a couple days but I already feel like I have a family. I thought. I ruffled the boys's hair, And I got on my tippy toes and ruffled Envy's too. He gave me a shocked look.

For the rest of the day, I hung out with Envy, Wrath, And Pride. We did random things that most families would do. That whole time, I couldn't help but wonder, Where did that caring look Envy gave me this morning come from? He acts like he hates me! I looked over to him, Who was chasing Wrath in slight anger. Did he.... care about me?
