Time Flies By

It's been about 3 weeks since I arrived with the Homunculi. In that time Envy and I grew very close . He will sit in the window sill in my room. We would talk for hours on end and I told him everything about myself. About how I live alone on a farm, My parents died when I was young, About Lailah, And so on. Be would patiently listen and when I stopped, He would tell me about himself. He told me about his creator, Who he called Father, His Actual father -Who he never named-, and he talked about the two other Homunculi, Greed and Sloth. He would also yawn every once and a while, always ending the yawn with an adorable squeak. I would giggle and he looked at me weird, Then went on about Father.

"you should avoid him. You never know what he could do." Envy said with a worried glance. I nodded. "okay, I will. He looks like Hohenheim, Right?" I asked. Envy nodded. "yeah, Except, No glasses." I nodded slowly and looked at Envy to catch him staring at me. Our eyes met and we both looked away. I blushed. HIDE IT!  I forced my blush away. I can't let him know, He's my  friend, not my soulmate! I sighed. It's never gonna happen. no matter what.  I looked up to see Envy looking back at me. "Envy?" I stuttered. Envy hummed in response and looked to me. "Can I tell you something?" I asked. "Tell me." He watched me inattentively. "Okay...Well I-" Someone burst into the room. "Envy, Greed's here." Wrath said. A tall, Handsome man stood behind Wrath. He looked at me through glasses and smiled with pointed teeth. "What's a cutie like you doing with this hideous freak?" He asked, walking to me and lifting my chin up to look at me closer. "You leave her alone, Greed!!" Envy growled. I turned my face away from Greed and Looked at Envy. He was glaring at Greed, his eyes burning with jealousy. "Aww is someone protective? I won't hurt her," He grew a devilish smirk with a suspicious look. "I promise~" He looked at me. I know what he wants... I thought. What he wanted, I wasn't ready for, and I was uncomfortable if I had to do it with him...But I have a feeling that he wont let me choose. 

"Uh...Mr. Greed, Sir, I-I'm only 14," I muttered. Greed shrugged. "So?" I started to panic and started to try and get away from him. He grabbed my wrists and pinned me to the wall.  I felt his hand moving down my thigh. Envy was screaming at Greed. "Greed, If you touch her, I'm going to kill you!!" Before Greed's hand could reach where he wanted it to, I wiggled one of my hands free and Struck Greed across the face. HARD. I ran from the shocked man in front of me. I ran to Envy and Accidentally jumped into his arms, my arms around his neck and My legs around his waist. It almost seemed as if he were ready for it. He holds me close to him. "Greed, if I hear anything about you trying to rape her again, You're Dead." Envy Growls. I hugged him close. Greed Scoffed. "Why do you want to keep her, Envy? She's a human! She's pathetic! She's nothing!" Tears welled in my eyes as Greed spoke. maybe it's true. I thought. Maybe I am nothing. Envy saw the tears in my eyes and Glared at Greed. "Shut up, Greed! Just Shut Up! She's special! Even Pride says so! She's not like any other human!" He said, wiping away my tears and Holding me close. I didn't want him to let go. he was so warm and Muscular. I snuggled into him, my head on his shoulder. I listened to his voice as he yelled at Greed and Closed my eyes. I need to tell him, I thought. He needs to know how I feel about him-but I barely even know him!-But yet I feel so attracted to him and He's not as bad as I thought. he's not evil, he just needs work. He can change, He can be kind, he can love. he just needs to learn how. I stayed there for a while, listening to his voice. The words echoed in my head. He can love, he just needs to learn how. With that, I drifted off to sleep in his calming arms.

It was a quiet day. I sat in my room, reading and soaking in sunlight. Envy ran into my room, causing me to yelp. He had a panicked look plastered on his face. "Mira! You need to get out of here! Now!" He said. "what? Why?" I asked. I looked into Envy's panic filled eyes. "Father found out about you.... " he said quickly. My eyes widened and I stood up. Envy grabbed my wrist and took off running. We ran until we were out onto the street where Envy kidnapped me. He looked at me, Terrified. "Go... Winry is looking for you. Just tell them you went to Resembool for a bit. They are at the Hughes's." he hugged me tightly then looked town the tunnel to see father walking up them. He looked back at me with a panicked expression. "GO!" I started crying and ran as fast as I could, taking one quick glance back to see the other Homunculi protecting me, yelling at Greed. Greed saw me and started running after me, Envy saw and his arm turned green and stretched and grabbed Greed. "RUN MIRA!" He shouted, him and the other homunculi fighting Greed. I sobbed and kept running.

I'll never get to tell him....
