Not long after we went outside, Lailah came out, joined by Jean. Jean looked surprised to see Envy. "Aren't you...?" He faded out when he looked to Lailah. She smiled. "I told you that he was going to Mira!" Jean smiled. "oooh yeah! I forgot about that!" He turned to Envy and I. "So, Are you two dating now or something?" he asked. Envy nodded and I blushed. "Y-Yep-" Jean laughed. "Great!" I looked to him. I don't think I've ever not seen Jean smiling. He always looks so happy, even when he's not. I wish I could be like that.
Lailah, Jean, Envy and I all went back to their house. Lailah turned to me. "Come here, I have something to show you." I nodded and followed her. The walked to the bathroom, Closing the door behind me, Then dug through the cabinet, Pulling out a plain box. She opened it, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
A pregnancy test reading positive.
My sister was pregnant!
I gasped and hugged her. "When did you find out?" She smiled. "Last weekend," I smiled brighter. "Our babies are gonna be two months apart! I said. Lailah hugged me back. "Yeah!" The said excitedly, But then the excitement in her voice faded. "What do you think Jean would think....? I mean, we didn't expect a baby at all..." I looked at her. "You didn't?" She shook her head. "Not at all... I...I forgot to take my birth control one night.." I hugged her tighter. "I bet you he'll be ecstatic! You should tell him." Lailah nodded, a smile growing. "Yeah,"
We earned confused looks from the two men as we came down the stairs, Giggling. Lailah held the box in her hand, Then chucked it at Jean, He caught it and looked at her strangely. "What is this?" He asked. Lailah gestured to it. "Open it!" She said, slightly nervous. He opened the box then stared at the contents, As if he were trying to process everything. Then his eyes lit up, brighter than I've ever seen them. "Y-You're p-pregnant..?" Lailah nodded. Jean jumped up and hugged Lailah tightly, While being careful of their new growing child in her. "You make me the happiest man alive," He said. Lailah smiled. "I'm glad,"
I looked to Envy and he had the most needy look in those violet eyes of his. I walked to where he was seated on the couch and he pulled me into his lap, cuddling into my back. I smiled. Maybe my assumptions are wrong? I thought. Maybe he does love me. Jean and Lailah finished their hug and looked to us. "So are you guys gonna stay the night?" Lailah asked. "Sure!" Envy replied. I looked to him and smiled. "well, We should all probably head to bed then," Said Jean. We all nodded and said Goodnight, heading up into our rooms.
I laid cuddled up next to Envy, Thinking. The most recent time we did it, it felt amazing, But hurt like hell at first, But he waited-unlike Thomas- and It felt great once the pain went away. Then I remembered that he said he would never take advantage of me, But for some reason I didn't like that. I thought of this for a while, Until I decided to speak up. "Envy?"
"Yeah, Mira?" He replied. I sighed. "Remember how..last night you said that you'd never take advantage of me?" I asked. He nodded, Giving a cute 'mhm' in agreement. "Well.....I don't want that. I wouldn't give a damn if you did. I would love it anyway." He looked at me, Slightly shocked, Then nodded. "I just dont want to overwhelm you, But if you ever want to do things, just say the word and we do it." He said. I nodded, drifting off to sleep. The last thing I remember was his arms wrapping around me.
