Envy's POV:
I stood in the room Mira once stayed in. I wonder where she is right now, and if she's thinking about me. I wondered, then shook away the though. "She is probably in Resembool....calling Alphonse every day, asking how he is." I said. I sighed, Crossing the room to the window. I sat down on the window sill. I watched the sunset like we always had. "Where are you Mira?" I asked out loud.
Mira's POV
I woke up with sun shining on my face. It was warm...and bright. I sat up and walked downstairs to see Lailah and Jean sitting at the desk of the General store. Jean Looked to me. "Morning Mira!" He said with a smile. I smiled back. "Hey Jean. Hey Lailah." I walked to them. "Did you sleep well?" Lailah asked. I nodded slightly. "yeah, I guess." Lailah frowned. "You guess?" I nodded. "I had trouble falling asleep." Lailah looked at me strangely. "You haven't been able to sleep right ever since you came to central for the second time, when you came for a day, then went back to Resembool for a whole month, then came back." She said. I shrugged. "I guess." Oh my goodness I sound like Envy.. I thought. The thought came back to my head. Where is he?
I helped Jean and Lailah run the general store for the rest of the day. I decided to go for a walk while the sun was setting. I walked for about 2 hours. When I got home, It was dark and Lailah and Jean were already sleeping. I snuck in through the door, which was luckily unlocked. Thanks sis, I thought. I went up to my room and saw a letter on my bed. The letter label read Lailah and Mira Jared. I opened the letter and read it.
Dear Mira and Lailah
Hey, Its Thomas. Things in Xing are going great. Middie and I are learning a lot over here. She has been learning alkahestry. She says she wants to be like you with your astonishing alchemy skills, Mira, in which you....never use. ANYWAY! I've been learning a lot about the Xingese culture and fighting style, maybe When I get home I can come to central and kick your soldier butt Lailah. Anyway, I hope you two are doing well, and I hope that Lailah, Your relationship with Jean, and Mira, that guy you met, are going well. We miss you guys. -~Thomas and Middie Hifer.Thomas and Middie are childhood friend of ours. My parents were best friends with theirs. Their parents are state alchemists, Like Ed. They are the Green Alchemist and the Light Alchemist. Their Mom, Rachel, Can create and control Plants. Their father, Nick, controls and creates Light. Pretty Cool? Right?
Thomas is 4 years older than me, Making him 21. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is strong, but has never beaten my sister in a fight, even before she went to school, But that because he is beefy and slow, while my sister is slim and quick. He has a face like Lailah's, very clear with no freckles, But Thomas is tan, unlike Lailah, who is pale.
Middie Is 3 years younger than me, but that never mattered to us. Middie is her nickname. Her real name is Midnight. She was named after her black hair and blue eyes. She, unlike her brother, has pale skin. Her face is the same shape as Thomas's. She has very clear skin as well, with no freckles.
Throughout his life, Thomas has had some struggles. His parents always sent Middie things, but never him. They abandoned him to live and work on his own and to take care of Middie. They treasured Middie, and That brought him down. Not to mention that he got turned down by me a million times... He's not the stablest person..

Again, I fell asleep without knowing it. I woke up to talking downstairs. I sat up and walked downstairs to see Ed. I ran and hugged him. "Hey Mira!" Ed said, Hughing me back. "Hey Ed!" I replied, gleaming. I looked at him. "Where's Al?" I asked. Laughed. "He's on some business revoluting around what I came here for" He said with a bigger smile. I smiled back. "What are you doing here?" I asked him. Ed lookednto Lailah, Then looked back to me. "Well Mira, I'm going to fight a guy called Father with a bunch of people and I was wondering if you wanted to come. Your alchemy could come in handy." he told me. Father...Where have I heard that before? I wondered. Father....... Father...... My eyes widened. Its Father! The dude Envy was talking about! Maybe if I go, I will see him again!! "okay, I'll go." I said. Ed smiled. "great," He said. "Can You meet us at Central Command in 2 hours?" I nodded. Ed hugged me one last time and left. "you'll probably need this," Jean said, holding out a gun to me. I looked at him and the gun and gently took it. "i have a belt that can hold it if you need." Lailah told me. I nodded ans went upstairs to change.
The two hours felt like forever. Jean and Lailah showed me how to use the gun. Lailah showed me how not to die and they both gave me many helpful tips. I'm hoping that this won't be the very last adventure I go on.
