“I don’t know talk about sports or something” You sighed to Michael not even looking up from your phone. “Why are you of no help to me?” he responded. “You are yelling again Michael.” Right now he was questioning you about your father, knowing he was overprotective. “Well I’m so sorry I’ll try to be quieter next time I’m telling you about the lack of help you’re being” he said sarcastically and that’s when you put down your phone and looked at him. He was sitting on the edge of his bed with a pen and paper in hand. Moving next to him you took the materials out his hand and spoke. “Just be yourself okay Michael. You treat me good and show that to him. That’s all you really can do alright?” In response he leaned over and gave you a sweet kiss lasting until you two became breathless. “Thank you” he panted out now playing with the ends of your hair. You two sat in silence for a few minutes before he spoke again. “I just really wanna win over your father (Y/N). I care about you so so much and I do plan on being with you for a long time and I don’t want to have your dad hate me every time I see you.” You couldn’t help but smile because that was really cute of Michael. “I’m going to be truly honest with you. It may be a little difficult, but I know you and I know you can do it. Just take baby steps and show him the amazing Michael Clifford that you are okay?” With that you intertwined your hands with his. “This is why you win the award for best girlfriend in the world.”
