alrighty so once calum found out your parents didn't like him he'd be all pouty and try to do things to make them like him, but then once he found out why they didn't like him (he would have overheard you on the phone with your friend) he'd get really really sad bc wtf the girl hes crazy over parent's don't like him and that really sucks. and once he first found out he'd be all quiet and look all sad and wouldn't really let you know that he knew until you got sick of his sad and mopey mood and demanded he told you what was wrong and once he did your heart would break tbh. you would just get on his lap and he'd bury his face in your neck and you could hear him start to sniffle and you would make him look at you and go "calum I don't care what they think alright. god, I love you so much and no ones opinion of you is gonna change that alright? you are perfect the way you are and just because my parents don't like you because of their own stupidity and ignorance doesn't mean shit." and then you would proceed to place a kiss on his cheek and ofc he would still be sad but he would get out a little smile wand would hug you to him tightly and would mutter how much he loved you in your ear
