Partie 57/ just friend

The days passed and the doctor had identified that Scully was anemic. She was taking vitamin supplements and had more regular appointments to make sure the baby was fine. Mulder limited these trips to help Scully at home and at work. William had started his college session. He was splashing his time between school and coffee or he continued to work on weekends. He made a few friends, but stayed behind. Some day was better than others for him. He also took the opportunity to investigate the man with the cigarette. He had asked Skinner to help him with that. Skinner was not comfortable saying anything to Mulder and Scully, but let's say William had a pretty good power of persuasion. He really wanted to understand who this man was and what his intentions were. William had found old files of unclassified business at Mulder's house. He had discovered the kidnapping of Mulder's sister, Scully's. He was trying to make a connection between all his records and his story. He understood that the smoker claimed to be his father because in fact he was his creator. He was the cause of his arrival. Although it took 2 people to do this child, but the smoker had chosen 2 people particulare. Mulder had been infected with a virus before it was removed. The one who triggered a hyper brain activity that could have killed him. William was convinced that Mulder still had this part of the virus in him but that he was asleep. His abduction was not random, the tests he had undergone and this other virus that could have made him invincible as was Billie Miles. He wrote down all these links in a notebook that he was hiding. He hoped to gather as much information as possible to find the smoker and really kill him.
It was early February snow had appeared. Mulder, Scully and William were at home. Mulder was preparing the baby's room to come. William helped her with this one. They were both in the room.
M: Will, you know it's your mother's birthday in 2 weeks. I would like to make him a surprise party.
William: Do you need my help?
M: You could ask Maria and Debbie to spend the day with her. Ettoi and I would take care of preparing something for the apartment.
William: I'll see her with Debbie she has to come home today for a week.
M: How's it going with Debbie?
William: We do not really speak since Christmas. She is very busy with these studies and me too.
M: She's a good girl.
William smiled at his father he knew what he meant by telling him that. But William was not close to this kind of relationship with a girl. His mind was elsewhere.
Scully arrived in the room.
S: Gentlemen we have a visit tonight.

A little later in the evening Maria and her family arrived at the house. William went to join everyone. Debbie was there. But she was not alone. A boy accompanied him.
Debbie: Will I introduce you to Mark
William greeted him. The guests were in the living room and William understood very quickly that Mark was Debbie's boyfriend. He watched them and said nothing. He had taken refuge in a silence, as he usually did when the situation was altered or hurtful. Debbie smiled she was happy.
William got up to fetch wood outside. Debbie had noticed her silence and closed area. She followed him outside.
Debbie: I'll help you, Will.
William: You can go back to the Interior I'll manage.
Debbie: What's going to happen?

Mark went to greet William.
Mark: We're going tomorrow with Debbie, you should come with us.
Will: Thanks, but I work at the cafe.

William found what he was looking for. He printed his file.

William: I have parents
who work at the FBI, it must be in the genes.
