Here is the 2nd and last part of this chapter

The days passed and Scully was still in a deep coma. His condition was stationary. The doctor said nothing but Mulder turned out to be worrying. He begged her every day to wake up. William watched his father bruised in inconsolable distress. He witnessed his sadness and it made him suffer. Debbie was coming back from NYK on hearing the news, she was trying to support William as she could. It had been a week since Scully was a coma. William arrived at the hospital to see her as every day. He caught the doctor's conversation. This one explained the possible consequences if it did not wake up quickly.

William knocked on the door, but he was surprised not to see his father sitting next to her. William took the place on the armchair.

William: Hi! I do not know where you are but would be fine if you come back here in this room. I try to connect to you, but nothing works. You have to come back, not for me, but for the little girl waiting to meet you. You'll see how she clings. Yesterday she managed to catch one of my fingers. I felt all his strength it was incredible. Fox says she keeps her from you. It is time that you prove it to us. I see Fox who is at your side every day, begging you to wake up. I have never seen anyone so unhappy. His face is so closed and sad. He who is the mainstay of this family has clearly knelt down for a week. I think his heart is stopping beating when he entered this room. I do not know how long he will hold, but you would have to help him ... without him he is not the same man.

 William paused for a moment. The emotion in telling him these words was great. He was looking at her for a long time, he approached her and stroked her hair.

William: Mom, I need you too. A sob in his voice.

Mom please please come back. I want to hear you tell me your life pass, hear you laugh, meet your particular gaze when I immerse myself in it. Mom, there's a thing that I did not tell you. I find myself in the same place as you a few months ago when you thought I was dead before your eyes. All the words you told me, those tears that

I heard, I understand this pain today. William's sobbing was in the room. Mulder was at the door and he had heard everything.

M: Will!

He stepped up to him and William let his emotion go in his father's arms.

William and Mulder was sitting in the room. The silence and heaviness of the moment was palpable.

William had finally left the hospital to sleep at the apartment. Mulder, as usual, was asleep on the chair next to Scully holding his hand.

Scully woke up finally. She opened her eyes and became aware of where she was. She turned her head slightly to see Mulder asleep. His face was serious and closed. His hand held hers, held it so tight that she could not escape it. He clung to her as not to lose her.

S: Mulder! His voice was weak.

Mulder!

Mulder opened one eye but was not sure what he was hearing. He was looking at Scully who had his big blue eyes open. Mulder jumped from his chair.

M: Scully!

S: Hello!

Mulder smiled at him. His eyes were filled with tears of joy.

M: How are you feeling

S: My hands are numb.

Mulder realized he would be this one again.
