Opening his sky blue eyes, Leo looks around in his bedroom. It's a basic bedroom with a bed, cupboard, drawers, and a window with a perfect view of the Crimson Palace, which is high up on the tallest mountain. He stands up, stretches and looks at the full-bodied mirror that is attached to the cupboard. All he is wearing is black pants with blue markings on the edges as his tail swished behind him. He is a white tiger with blue stripes, his fur is pure white as the snow itself and has blonde hair on top.
Leo: (sighing) Another nightmare.
It's just like the rest of his dreams, reminders of the past that he wishes to forget but can't let go of.
He's cut from his thought from a knock at his door.
Leo: Yeah?
???: Leo, it's time to get up.
Leo: I'm coming, Misty.
He gets dressed and now he's wearing his black pants with a red scarf with a dragon head necklace over his scarf. He also wears red and black gauntlets. After getting dressed, he sighs as he goes downstairs. When he gets downstairs, he sees Misty.
Leo: Good morning, Misty.
Misty is a black cat with green eyes, black hair, and the body of a supermodel. She wears a jade green dress with black leggings and a teardrop-jewel necklace, now covered by an apron.
Misty: Morning.
A man, Grieger, appears near them. He appears as a tall, muscular, brown cat with brown eyes and black hair. He wears a black hakama with some black wristbands, but now, is also wearing an apron. Both he and Misty have been with Leo ever since he was 5, so he's like a son to them. They own a ramen restaurant called, "Minako's Ramen".
Grieger: Good morning, Leo. Can you help out with the customers?
Leo: (putting on his apron) Sure.
He walks by the table and picks up a couple bowls of ramen. He puts them on a tray as well. As he delivers the ramen to the customers, he couldn't help but gaze at the Crimson Palace with a certain feeling that something is gonna happen.
At the Crimson Palace
Master Goodwin, a red fox, is sitting peacefully as he plays his flute. As he plays, he senses 5 individuals around him. Suddenly, from behind, a panther shoots out, and then a white tiger with pink stripes and a golden leopard from his front, a crow on his left, and a wolf on his right, all appear running and flying at him. Opening his eyes, Goodwin stands up and deflects the panther's attack, ducks underneath the tiger's kick, flip into the air and hits the crow on the head with his flute and flips over the leopard and wolf. He continues to dodge and deflect all their attacks until he signals them to stop.
Goodwin: Well done, students. If you were trying to disappoint me! (points at the tiger) Luna, you need more ferocity! (then the wolf) Yusei, greater speed! (then the crow) Crow, height! (then the panther) Akiza, subtlety! (finally the leopard) Jack-
???: Master Goodwin.
Goodwin: What!?
He points the flute at a male red cardinal, causing the cardinal to step back in fear.
Cardinal: (scared) It's Master Tzolkin, he wants to see you!
Hearing that causes the fox's eyes to widen. It didn't take long for Goodwin to run to the Hall of Heroes. A hall that contains multiple legendary weapons and the scroll of the Dragon Warrior. At the end of the Moon Pool, you could see a crouching figure balancing on a staff. Once Goodwin is close enough, he stops and breathes calmly and bows respectfully.
Goodwin: Master Tzolkin, you summoned me? Is there something wrong?
The crouching figure moves down his staff and you can see a fair, crimson-scaled dragon who seems a bit young for his age.
Tzolkin: Why must something be wrong for me to want to see my old friend?
Goodwin: (confused) So, nothing's wrong?
Tzolkin: Well, I wouldn't say that.
Tzolkin then spins with his hands out, putting out the candles in response.
Goodwin: What do you mean?
Tzolkin: I had a vision. Netherton will return.
Goodwin's eyes widen in shock as memories fly through his mind. He remembers all the destruction that he has caused.
Goodwin: But that's impossible! He's in the Facility!
Tzolkin: Nothing is impossible.
Goodwin: Lazar! (hands the cardinal that informed him a scroll) Fly to the Facility and tell them to double the guards, double the weapons, double everything! Netherton does not leave that prison.
Lazar: Yes, Master Goodwin.
He flies off with the message but doesn't see where he is going and hits a pillar and then leaves the temple.
Tzolkin: One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.
Goodwin: We have to do something! We can't just let him march into the valley and take his revenge! He'll-
Tzolkin: Your mind is like this water, my friend. When it's agitated, it becomes difficult to see. (uses his staff to touch the water and cause ripples to occur) But if you allow it to settle...The answer becomes clear.
As the water settles and sakura petals move, Goodwin sees a reflection in the water. It is the Crimson Dragon statue on the roof and it holds the Dragon Scroll.
Goodwin: The Dragon Scroll.
Tzolkin: It's time.
Goodwin: But, who? Who is worthy to be trusted with the secret to limitless power? To become the Dragon Warrior?
Tzolkin: I don't know. (causes Goodwin to face-fault)
