Leo: Can I ask something?
Luna: (with a raised eyebrow) Yes.
Leo: (indicating to Netherton, who is now unconscious) Is what he said true?
Luna: (confused) Is what true?
Leo: That you love me.
Her eyes widen before she begins to sputter. After an amusing few minutes, Leo shuts her up with a kiss that shocks her. A moment later, she returns it. They break away after a second.
Luna: I do love you.
Leo: (smiling) I love you too.
Netherton: Well that is amusing. (standing albeit shakily and it is clear that his right arm is broken) You...can't defeat me. You...you're just a stupid...blue-striped...tiger!
He tries to use a nerve attack on Leo but he catches his finger with ease.
Leo: I'm not a stupid, blue-striped tiger. I'm just Leo, the legendary Byakko and Dragon Warrior.
Leo raises his pinkie.
Netherton: (gasping and cowering) The Wuxi finger hold.
Leo: Oh you know this hold?
Luna sees what is about to happen and hides behind Leo.
Netherton: Your bluffing. You're bluffing! Goodwin didn't teach you that!
Leo: Actually, he did. (before flexing his pinkie) Believe that.
A golden energy shock wave blasts through the Valley. All the villagers return to the Valley, believing that the battle is over when they see golden energy. A dust cloud gathers all over the Valley and they can't see anything. Finally, after a minute, two shadows appear through the cloud. They wait as the figures slowly step forward and the dust cloud slowly lifts. They are shocked to see Luna supporting Leo over her shoulder. They stop and the villagers all cheer.
Crowd: (chanting) Dragon Warrior!
Misty and Grieger: (from the crowd) Way to go, Leo!
The crowd then separates and watches as four of the Furious 5D's walk forward.
Leo: Hey guys.
5Ds: (bowing) Master.
He turned and saw Luna smiling at him.
Luna: (bowing) Master.
He smiles before tilting it up and kissing her. Of course, this shocks everybody that is watching, apart from Misty.
Misty: (whispering) Called it.
They separate.
Leo: (whispering) Master Leo? Has a nice ring to it.
He then widens his eyes and gasps out.
Leo: Master Goodwin!
He lets go of Luna and runs to the temple. Once there, he runs inside and sees Goodwin lying near the Moon Pool.
Leo: Master! Goodwin, are you ok?!
He turns Goodwin over and sees him open his eyes
Goodwin: Leo, you're alive...or we're both dead.
Leo: No, Master, I didn't die. I defeated Netherton
Goodwin: You did? (seeing Leo nodding) Wow. It is as Tzolkin foretold. (weakly before closing his eyes) You are the Dragon Warrior. You have brought peace to this Valley, and...and to me. Thank you.
Leo: No! Master! No, no, no, please don't die!
Goodwin: I'm not dying, you idiot! (correcting himself) Uh...Dragon Warrior. I am simply at peace, finally.
Goodwin lies down and closes his eyes with a smile.
Leo smiles and leaves the temple. At the entrance stands Luna.
Luna: (worried) How is he?
Leo: He just found his peace. Although to me it just looks as if he is asleep.
Luna: (smiling) I see.
Leo walks over to her, kisses her, and then hugs her.
Leo: (making her laugh lightly) So what now, girlfriend of the Dragon Warrior?
Luna: I don't know. Maybe everyone needs to rest now.
Leo: (yawning) Good idea. Let's go.
They both walk into the temple to rest, thankful that the battle is over and that they have found each other.
Little do they know that an even greater legend will soon begin.
