Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Kung Fu Leo

1st Day of Training

Crimson Palace

A gong goes off, early in the morning. The second it goes off, the Ferocious 5D's all exit their rooms.

Ferocious 5D's: (to Goodwin) Good morning Master.

However they all notice that Leo hasn't come out of his room yet.

Goodwin: Tiger!

He walks to his room and slam the doors open.

Goodwin: Wake up!

But he's surprised to find nobody there. In response, Goodwin chuckles.

Goodwin: He's gone.

The other's don't really seem to care but Luna looks down remembering his words from last night.

Leo: (flashback) If you or the others have anything to say, then say it to my face rather than behind my back.

Luna: (thinking) He knew what we were saying and he left? I thought he was staying, to prove who he was.

They all walk to the training yard.

Akiza: (worried) What do we do now, with the boy tiger gone? Who will be the Dragon Warrior?

Goodwin: (never losing his smile) All we can do is resume our training and trust that in time, the true Dragon Warrior will be revealed.

He opens the gates only to see Leo panting as he leans against a tree.

Goodwin: What are you doing here!?

The others widen their eyes seeing the tiger.

Leo doesn't seem surprised when he hears Goodwin shouting.

Leo: Good morning, Master. I was just training.

Luna: (before Goodwin can say anything) In what?

Leo: (smiling) A full split.

Goodwin: You actually thought you could learn to do a full split in one night? It take's years to develop one's flexibility!

He throws 2 discs high into the air. Luna steps forward and crouches, without losing her smirk.

Goodwin: And years longer to apply it in combat!

He snaps his fingers and Luna jumps following the discs. Once she is level, she does a split without difficulty and destroys the discs. When she lands, she gives Leo a challenging smirk. Pieces of the discs fall to the ground. As Leo looks at Luna, with her watching, he catches a piece of disk without looking away from her. Both their smirks seem to grow a bit with amusement.

Goodwin: Put that down! The only souvenirs we collect here are bloody knuckles and broken bones!

If anything, Leo's smirk only grows and it angers Goodwin a Leo throws the piece to the ground.

Leo: Then, let's get it done.

He snaps his fingers and they all enter a ring, with only Akiza and Leo in the middle.
