Crimson Palace

Leo is overwhelmed by the amount of cheering for him. The second they enter the Crimson Palace, the ducks throw Leo out of the carriage.

Leo: Ow. I think there was a mistake, everyone thinks that I am the Dragon Warrior!

He sighs before turning around and noticing where he is.

Leo: The Hall of Heroes?

He looks around. The Hall of Heroes has been a very sacred shrine for the most authentic items from many Kung Fu masters. There are many things from armor, to weapons.

Leo: This place looks cool.

He approaches a sword that had a green Chinese dragon on it. On the bottom of the stand is a plaque.

Leo: The Sword of Heroes, legend has it that it is said to be so sharp that you can cut yourself just by looking.

Looking up Leo stares at it before trying to hold it. He only gets a few inches away before retracting his hand and wincing.

Leo: Ow.

Leo continues to look around, taking in every sight there is to see in this hall, before noticing he isn't alone. Looking towards the Moon Pool he sees Goodwin.

Leo: (bowing) Master Goodwin.

Goodwin: (rhetorically) So you're the legendary Dragon Warrior, aren't you?

Leo: Yeah about that. There was a mistake and-

Goodwin: (interrupting Leo) Of course there was a mistake! You are not the Dragon Warrior. You will never be the Dragon Warrior until you have learned the secret of the Dragon Scroll. (pointing to the top of the room and at the dragon statue, then walking around Leo) However, there is far more for obtaining the secret to limitless power than you know, little boy. One must first master the highest level of Kung Fu and that is clearly impossible if that one is someone like you.

Leo: (not liking what he's hearing) Like me?

Goodwin: Yes, look at you! I have never seen a tiger that looks a lot like Luna before. But, other than that, there seems to be nothing special about you that I can see, but let me make something very clear to you. Tzolkin may have picked you, but when I'm through with you, I promise you, you are going to wish. He. Hadn't! Are we clear?

Leo: (growling) Crystal.

Goodwin: (grinning evilly) Good. I can't wait to get started.

He then leads Leo to the Ferocious 5D's training room, where they are now training. He watches as Crow flies from the ceiling and lands on an unsteady bowl while blocking arrows from different directions. Luna then flips over to him and they start to spar. Jack lands next to the bowl and shoots through a lot of spiked training dummies. Akiza is dodging fire as she runs around. Yusei is swinging around on the ceiling and jumps through a hoop that has blades all around it. Finally, Luna is back on a spinning mechanism that looks like serpents. She is also dodging several swinging clubs that have spikes on them. Suddenly, she smashes one and the wood goes flying straight at Leo. Trusting his instincts, Leo ducks underneath a large piece of wood and catches a smaller but that could have hit his face. Goodwin is speechless when he sees this, but regains his posture.

Goodwin: (wanting to see Leo lose and leave the temple) W-Well then, let's begin.

Leo: Hold up. What? Already?

Goodwin: (practically saying 'Get the heck out of the temple now!') Yes, now. Unless you think the great Tzolkin was wrong and you are not the Dragon Warrior.

Leo: For the last time! I am not the Dragon-

Leo is cut off when Jack accidentally lands behind him and pushes him. Leo goes forward and onto the spinning serpent mechanisms. Even though he has never done anything like this before, Leo shows that he has great balance as his running in place keeps him upright. The Ferocious 5D's land next to Goodwin and is about to help Leo until their master stops them.

Goodwin: This should be good.

As Leo goes about, his instincts go off again and his foot shoots up clicking one of the clubs. However, the force of the impact still blows Leo away and into the large jade green bowl. He manages to get out of it but, when he does, goes straight into the spiked dummies. He used his tail and arms to block but some do hit him.

Goodwin: This will be easier than I thought.

After getting out of it, Leo thinks he's safe. That is until he hears a strange sound and looks down. It is then that he realizes that he is standing on the field of fire. With great luck, he manages to avoid most of the blasts with only a few actually hitting him. He finishes and collapses while breathing heavily.

Leo: (panting) How...how did I do?

You could tell Goodwin is mad seeing that Leo hasn't given up. Seems like Leo isn't going away that easily.
