Later that night

Jack: (as he and the others walk up the steps to their bedrooms) There are no words.

Crow: There is no denying that.

Akiza: What was Master Tzolkin thinking? The poor guy is going to get himself killed.

Crow: (sarcastically) He is so mighty. The Dragon Warrior fell out of the sky on a ball of fire!

The others, but Luna, laugh.

Luna: One would think Master Tzolkin would choose someone who actually knew Kung Fu.

They all laugh and continue walking without knowing that Leo is sitting behind a tree. He is sad, even though he knows he isn't the Dragon Warrior, he at least tried his best. As they make fun of him, memories of his past enter his mind. He nearly screams, so he does the only thing he could think of.

Run.

He runs through the forest without knowing where he is going. After a while he stops and sees he is on a hill with a peach tree, far from the temple. It is here that he screams. He screams to the heavens but he gets no answer, until he hears a voice behind him.

???: I see you have found the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom.

Turning, Leo sees it is Tzolkin.

Leo: (bowing) Master.

He turns to look at the tree.

Leo: I thought I found a random peach tree.

Tzolkin: I understand. You go to isolated places when you are upset.

Leo: (as he turns away) Who said I was upset?

Tzolkin: Your eyes. I can see how you feel just by looking into your eyes. I saw that you were upset and I also saw that you have a troubled past.

Leo's eyes widen at this.

Tzolkin: So, why are you upset?

Sighing, Leo sits down against the tree.

Leo: Even thought I tried my best, I made a fool of myself in front of Master Goodwin and the 5D's.

Tzolkin: Probably.

Leo: And just recently I overheard the team talking behind my back. They hate me.

Tzolkin: Obviously.

Leo: I used to have respect for everyone here, but Master Goodwin and the others have lost my respect. I know I'm not good at Kung Fu as they are, but they could at least help me instead of criticizing me. I should probably just leave. I don't belong here, anyway. I have more of a chance making noodles for Minako's than learning Kung Fu here.

Tzolkin: (smiling sadly) Quit, don't quit. Noodles, don't noodles. You are too concerned with what was and what will be. There's a saying: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

He says it wisely and as a crazy old dragon at the same time. He begins to walk away and hits the tree as he walks by it. A peach falls out of the tree and lands in Leo's hand, making the tiger smile.

Eventually, he returns to the temple. He slowly walks, not caring if he makes any noise. Just as he gets to his room's door, the door behind him opens to show Luna.

Luna: You don't belong here.

Her eyes seem to bore into his through the dark.

Luna: You do not belong in the Crimson Palace. You are a disgrace to Kung Fu, and if you have any respect for who we are and what we do, you will be gone by morning.

More memories flash throughout his mind, causing Leo to hold his head in pain. Seeing this, Luna is about to ask if he is all right, but he takes a step into his room. Just as he's about to shut the door he looks her in the eyes.

Leo: I may not belong here and that all of you find me a disgrace, but I still try. I know I am not the Dragon Warrior and I know Master Tzolkin was going to choose you until I landed in front of you. But that does not give any of you the right to tell me to stop and walk away.

As he speaks, Luna's eyes widen when she sees the determination in his eyes.

Leo: I will stay. Not to prove anyone right, that I'm a disgrace or that I am the Dragon Warrior. I will stay to prove that I am Leonidas and that I will never give up.

With that, he shuts his door, leaving a stunned Luna. He opens the door again.

Leo: Also if you or the others have anything to say about me, then say it to my face rather than behind my back. Goodnight Luna.

Then he shuts the door.
