+ raelynn's pov
Grayson and I had been better than ever. We've spent almost everyday with each other and I can feel myself falling for him more and more. Everything about him is so captivating.
Recently, we've been with Addison and Jonah a lot more. Grayson and Jonah have formed a brotherly bond in such a quick amount of time and I can't be happier for him. He always told me how he never socialised with anyone after Ethan going to jail, so it makes me happy he's finding friends.
The four of us were on the couch watching endless amounts of movies. Laughter filled the room and at this point, I felt myself feeling genuinely happy.
I have the friends who I'll always cherish and a boy who I can love with my entire heart.
Love. Do I love Grayson?
We've known each other for 8 months and we aren't even dating yet but he makes me feel things no one else has. He makes me feel protected, loved. Even if it was early, there's nothing I wouldn't do for this boy.
I was leaning on his shoulder as his body shook from laughing so hard. I took this opportunity to look at him. The light from the tv screen illuminated his beautiful features. Everything about him was perfect. His eyes locked with mine and he sent me a heart-warming smile. I smiled back and he slowly leaned in and pecked my lips.
Our moment was interrupted by a pillow hitting my face from Addison.
"Can your love-making wait until after the movie?" Addison laughed.
"Don't act like you and Jonah weren't making out during the entire movie," I shot back before laughing with her.
"I need more popcorn, anyone wanna help?" Jonah said, walking towards the kitchen.
"I'm coming!" Grayson answered.
The boys left for the kitchen leaving Addison and I. She kept giving me a weird look, smirking at me.
"What," I chuckled.
"You. You just seem so happy."
"I am," I blushed.
"It's Grayson, isn't it," she smiled. "You love him, Raelynn."
"I don't know, maybe. We're not even going out yet," I shrugged.
"Rae, it's obvious. The way you guys look at each other shows it. I'm so happy for you. You haven't seemed this happy in ages and Grayson's a good guy. I can tell," Addison grinned.
Grayson was good for me. I'm happier because of him.
"You guys are so cute. I can't wait for your wedding and your kids. Oh my God, your kids are gonna be adorable and you-"
I cut off her squealing, laughing from her excitement. "Calm down, Addy."
We sat in silence, waiting for the boys to come back from the kitchen.
"You're in love, Raelynn and I couldn't be happier."
+ grayson's pov
Jonah had gone to the bathroom and I was walking towards the living room with the bowls of popcorn. But I stopped, overhearing Addison and Rae's conversation.
"It's Grayson, isn't it. You love him, Raelynn," Addison said.
"I don't know, maybe," Raelynn answered.
My heart was beating fast hearing those words.
Love.
I haven't been in love since Leilani and the didn't end well. But Raelynn's different. She has such an effect on me and she doesn't even realise. I'm happiest when I'm with her.
Love always confused me. Being the reckless teenager I once was, love was never my main priority.
I don't know where we stand but I do know she's the one I want to be with.
Jonah cut my thoughts off, "you alright, man?"
"Yeah, I'm good. I'll be in there in a bit."
I handed him the popcorn as he walked towards the living room. I could see Raelynn smiling and the sight warmed my heart.
I feel complete when I'm with her and that's when I realised,
I'm in love with Raelynn.
