"But if your servant says to you, "I do not want to leave you," because he loves you and your family and is well off with you, "
Deuteronomy 15:16This verse is dedicated to my Opa. He will be 81 on Monday, August 11th, and he isn't doing so good. We didn't think he would make it to his 81st birthday, and he did. I am so thankful for that.
My one regret is not soending time with him as a kid. Since Easter, his health has gone down hill. It's hard to see, and now at being almost 15, I see how precious family is. Before Easter, I don't even remember the last time I told Opa that i love him, and I wish I had told him that more often.
I have been waiting to be told that he has passed away, and honestly, I want to be told that because that means my Opa is HOME with the Lord and he is no longer suffering.
Be thankful for family, you never know when their health will get worse and worse with each passing day. I learned that the hard way. I love my Oma and Opa, and I wish I had told them that more often.
I am so thankful for an amazing family, and for my Opa being here for 81 years. I oray that the Lord will take him home soon. He doesn't deserve to suffer anymore. He needs to go HOME.
