I was being crushed between the tight air depriving grip of Julie and the awkward slack hug of Loki. Soon he pulled away, probably because he had had enough of the hug. Not being used to hugs and all. “Well, I think that’s enough hugging for now.”
Julie pulled away as well and gripped my shoulders tightly, "Now. How about we see if we can dye your hair back. I think it looks cool but-"
I nodded grimly, "My parents would kill me."
“Shouldn’t you tell your parents about your situation though. Sooner or later they might found out, if you intend to keep it a secret from them I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Loki spoke as he stared at me.
Both Julie and I sent venomous looks towards him for different reasons. "...Loki. I am NOT telling my parents." I growled fiercely.
Julie got up and went grabbing some hair dye. She came back and began trying to dye my hair. Finally, she gave up, "Rose... It won't dye. This is... Really weird..."
Loki inspected the dye then spoke again, “Maybe there’s something wrong with the dye.” He then shook his head, “No, possibly something that caused your hair to turn white is preventing the dye from changing it back.” He seemed to have slightly muttered that last part.
Pain jolted through my body and I yelled out, vision darkening as I crumpled into the couch clutching my stomach.
Julie dropped what she was doing and rushed to my side, "...Rose??!!"
Loki quickly went by my side, “What’s wrong with her!?”
Julie gulped and laid my head down checking my pulse. "Whatever is killing her, that's what is happening." She said tense and annoyed. My eyes were squeezed shut.
"...." My body relaxed into a trembling mess and my eyes fluttered open revealing their starring change from chocolate brown to a shocking and strange antifreeze blue-green.
Loki looked at my eyes a bit in shock, “R...Rose...your eyes...” Loki said in a bit of confusion to what he was looking at.
I rubbed my head, "...W...where am I...?" I asked, voice as quiet as a mouse.
Julie looked fearfully at me, "...Rose...?"
“Are you alright? Are you hurt? Do you remember what happened? Do you need anything?” Loki started aiming questions at me.
I felt light headed and dizzy and groaned closing my eyes. Julie laid a hand on my forehead and shushed my words gently before I could speak, "Loki... Please... Please find out what's wrong..." Her eyes were brimming with tears.

Loki stooped down and then touched my head gently. He closed his dark eyes and a few moments later opened them going pale, "...There... Is a gene... That has mutated. It's... Its artificial and I don't know how can remove it... Or..."
Julie gripped Loki's arm a little, "Loki... What if we take her to Odin? If anyone can help he can and if he can't..." She didn't have to finish.
Loki shook his head, “You don’t have to say it...and just stay calm. I’m sure my father can help her.” ‘At least I hope he can.’ He thought to himself as he looked at me.
