My blood ran cold as I felt a rush of anger and sadness and... disbelief, "Sorry? No. My parents are dead."
"...Thor? What is this? You said that we were going to prank Tony." Loki said, "..." He then looked over me and his expression softened, "You look so much like your mother..."
"Nope. No. Nuh-uh. No way. My parents are dead!" I crossed my arms stubbornly.
"I assure you I'm not dead... and..." He chuckled quietly, "...You are stubborn just like your mother. You have that same fire..."
"...." I shook my head, "I'm going to go get some... water!" I turned and hurried out.
"Don't worry. I will go talk to her..." Steve said and followed after.
I was sitting at the kitchen counter drinking... it wasn't water but a strawberry smelling liquor."LILLY!" Steve scolded as he swiped the liquor out of my hands. "What do you think you're doing?!" He asked pouring it down the drain. He sighed and set the cup down on the counter. He sat down on a chair beside me and pat my shoulder, "Look, don't become like Tony and I know how hard this is-"
"Do you really know how hard it is for me, gramps," I said scowling.
Steve flinched, "...That wasn't necessary Lilly. I know how angry you must feel but you shouldn't take it out on us. You need to figure out what is making you so angry."
I took a deep breath, "...Yeah, I know... just. I need some time, okay? I think that isn't much to ask for after what I just learned okay??"
Steve nodded, "Alright. But... can you please just try to have ONE afternoon with him? You'll thank me after, alright...?"
I sighed and hopped off of my chair and nodded, "...Fine... I guess just one afternoon won't hurt."
"No way is my kid going to hang out with Reindeer Games," Tony said. He stood in the doorway of the kitchen with his arms crossed.
"That is my decision and just because you don't want me to do it I will do it," I replied huffily.
"...I see she is in her teenage rebellion stage." Alyssea said as she walked to my side and yawned a little.
"You know, you really are like your mother..." Loki said walking into the kitchen helping himself to the fridge.
"Yeah... you already said that..." I muttered grumpily.
"Hey get out of there!" Tony said annoyed as he nearly shut the fridge on Loki's fingers.
"I do hope you haven't taught her to be as rude as you Iron Man..." He then took out a note pad and wrote down something I had to go on tiptoe to see what he was writing. 'Turn Stark's armor into a cube'. I sniggered silently at this as he slipped the notebook into his trench coat pocket. He then turned and sighed. "This is... strange for me as well, Lilly. Very strange."
"Fine. Look... how about Alyssea goes with them on their whatever." Tony said trying to think of some way to keep us away. I rubbed my head and sighed a bit feeling annoyed. The purple in my eyes shimmered and moved slightly.
"Me?" Alyssea made a face and then rolled her eyes, "Fine... whatever. We can go to the ice cream parlor." She smirked and nudged me. She also seemed to be the only one who noticed my eyes. She frowned a little probably filing it away to ask me later.
I blushed madly, "Oh no. Not the ice cream parlor right now. Let's go someplace else other than you know where!"
She rolled her eyes, "Fine~ but I swear on Mjolnir that I will get the two of you to kiss one day."
I smacked her shoulder blushing brightly, "I hate you."
"No, ya don't." She winked grinning and nudged me. "Alright, let's go for a walk. How about to the mall."
