32: Lilly Stark

-TIME SKIP: A month later-

(TONY'S P.O.V.)

        This was a disaster! How could Lilly just run off like that! Where was she? Was she hurt? Was she safe? I had no idea how to track her down and find out. Or, so I thought until I asked Fury about it.

        Fury's sweat dropped and he changed the subject immediately, "...Did you know that Ward told me you were stubborn again?"

        I thought for a moment then lifted an eyebrow, “Don’t change the subject on me, Fury, you’re hiding something. You know where Lilly is, so tell me, where did she go?”

        "Hiding something, pishf! Noooo!" Wow, Fury was acting very odd and out of character so... What the hell?

        “Fury you’re acting weird, this isn’t like you at all and I’m not leaving until I get the answer I’m looking for so where.is.Lilly?” I was curious and mad at the moment.

        "We made a deal with her. She got to hide in plain sight and we got a mission out of her." He said turning military style.

        “I see and just Um, where is this mission taking place,” I asked wanting to know where Lilly was exactly.

        Fury's shoulders tensed, "She asked you do not know. She said she did something and she was scared it was her fault and that she didn't want you to come after her. She said she was afraid to hurt you more. Bleh, it's weird for me to say stuff like that." Fury grimaced.

        “Fury I don’t care whether she wanted me to know or not. Just tell me where she is! I want to make sure she’s safe alright!!!?” I still wasn’t leaving until I knew exactly where she was, I also needed to tell her whatever happened wasn’t her fault.

        "Fine! She is in Wakanda. Okay?" He sighed.

        I freaked out even more, “Wakanda?! Why in the world did you send her there?!” I guess I was more shocked then furious as to why out of all places, Fury had to send Lilly to Wakanda.

        "...Our mission for her. Spy on them as we have reason they have a huge vault of Adamantium. She didn't want to do it but she reluctantly agreed." Fury sighed.

        I took the paper and sighed, “Thank you, Fury.” As I turned to leave though, I turned to face him, “Though, know if you try to keep something like this a secret, we are going to our have some very serious problems.” I turned back around taking my leave.

        I had asked Bruce, Steve, and Natasha to come along on the little adventure. It took about a day to get to Wakanda.

        “I can’t believe she’s been here this whole time...” Steve said and we got there, “Well that’s where Fury sent her apparently, I just hope she’s willing to come back with us.” I muttered that last part to myself.

        "....Tony... That's her!" Natasha suddenly said.

(LILLY'S P.O.V.)

        I was running around laughing, looking absolutely happy, "Shuri!! Shuri!! Hey!! Wait up!" 

        Connor looked up from what he was doing, tinkering with old spare parts and frowned a bit at Shuri and I for disturbing him. We were on the outskirts of Wakanda where the barrier didn't cover having fun together. I don't know why we thought we would be safe... Maybe because I had trusted Fury, I don't know... but I spotted four Avengers heading our way. I grabbed Shuri's hand and hurried to Connor pulling him up, "Let's go..." I say urgently.
