The Story of Debbie Morgan

Episode 3 - A Date

PREVIOUSLY:
Kyle appeared in the village. Luke was angered by Kyle's arrival. Brody stood up for Debbie. Debbie was shocked and upset seeing her ex boyfriend.

Luke storms into 'Esther's Magic Bean' and sees Kyle and he storms up to him "Hey!" Kyle turns to look at Luke and smiles "Hey Luke" "Don't you hey Luke me! What are you doing back here?!" Kyle stands up and says "I got left out early on good behaviour, you happy to see me?" Luke shakes his head "No I'm not! I want you to keep away from Debbie" and Luke turns around to walk away and Kyle says "Sorry no can do" Luke turns around and asks "Excuse me?! Oh I think you'll find you will" Kyle shakes his head "I came back for her I love her" Luke walks towards him and says "No you don't understand if you don't keep away from her I'll kill you" and Kyle looks taken back and Luke storms out of the Coffee shop.

Debbie is sitting on the couch crying when Mandy sits beside Debbie holding a hankie "Here you go Honey" Debbie takes the tissue "Thanks" Mandy rubs Debbie's back "It will be all okay" Debbie sniffles and asks "Do you think so?" Mandy nods "I know so".

Luke walks into the flat to see Mandy doing the dishes and Mandy says "Oh you're back? Where were you?" Luke paces up and down in the living room and Luke says "I went to see Kyle" Debbie appears at the top stair listening in on their conversation "and?" Mandy asks Luke. After a moment Luke says "I saw him, he was just so smug so I threatened him" Mandy's jaw drops "You threatened him?!" Luke says "What else could I do?!" Debbie runs downstairs and looks angry "You threatened him?" Luke and Mandy's face falls. Luke says "Debz let me explain" Debbie shakes her head and walks to the door and says "No Dad you've done enough!" and she storms out of the flat.

Debbie is sitting in The Dog in The Pond drinking a cola when Damon notices her and walks towards her "Hey there Deb, you want a refill?" Debbie looks up at Damon "I'd love one. Damon?" Damon nods "Mm hmm" "Is Brody about?" Damon smiles "Yeah actually he's out back" and Debbie nods and Damon walks away.

Brody walks towards Debbie's table with a glass of cola in his hand and he sets it down in front of Debbie she looks up at him "Hey Brody" Brody smiles "Hi here's your cola" Debbie smirks "Thanks oh by the way I wanted to talk to you" Brody raises his eyebrow "Oh yeah? What about?" "I wanted to thank you for what you did today it meant a lot" Brody sits down across from Debbie and says "Well from what I seen he was hurting you and I couldn't have that" Debbie smiles Brody says "Look here's the thing Debbie I like you a lot and I was just wondering if you wanna go out tomorrow night" Debbie couldn't help but smile as she asks "As in a date?" Brody nods "Yep, if that's ok with you" Debbie says "I would love to. I'll see you tomorrow then?" Brody nods "Yeah I'll call you" Russ shouts over "Oi Brody! I'm not paying you to just sit about!" Brody sighs and says "I better go" Debbie nods "Sure I'll see you later" and Brody walks off as Debbie drinks her cola and smiles.

Luke isn't impressed. Oliver appears. Brody and Debbie go on their first date.
