Ang galing ng pagkakasulat dito, nakatatak sa isip ko ang bawat linya at mga pangyayari. You'll end up wanting for more once you've read this story. The plot is distinctively unique and the pre-spanish historic events which makes the story more interesting to read. The author did a wise choice to use in-depth tagalog words in narrating the story. Para akong nagbabasa ng sinaunang libro dati (naalala ko ang Noli Me tangere nung high school).

The story is captivating with such a remarkable twist, a classical tragedy between star crossed lover Carmela and Juanito who bounded for separation and betrayal. Love conquers all kumbaga. Despite their social differences, they found each other's company.

Gusto ko ding balikan ang ugat ng lahat- ang nangyari sa Bataan. Doon pa lang duda na ako sa mangyayari.

Carmela Isabella must travel back through time to find out the reason of the death of her great-great grandmother, and the reason behind her misery. She must fulfill her mission to never let Juanito fell in love with her.
She promised to never let her guard down. Paano nya magagawa iyon? Juanito Alfonso is strikingly handsome and a sort of gentleman.  There are some instances in which he displayed courage, will-power, leadership and self abnegation are admirable. His love and faith in God, love for fellowmen and love parents are his shining virtues. That is what a typical Filipino gentleman should be. Sino ang hindi mahuhulog sa kanya?

Naaawa lang ako sa mga unanswered letters niya kay Carmelita. Nakakahinayang talaga. Tapos he's willing to let go of Carmelita even he loves her so much just for her happiness. Kahit na ikamatay niya pa ito. He's willing to scarificed his life for love.

I don't want to spoil but there's a lot of things happened in this story that will trigger your emotional turmoils. I suggest you should read this story with a strong mind and heart. Every chapter of the story teach us lessons that will surely affect our point-of-views about reality and life. Please prepare also a box of tissues when you've decided to read this.
