Cassidy Prim, a public figure who despises being in the spotlight, headed to a lesser-known island to get away from everything for a bit. She started a relationship with Lincoln Eleazar, whom she had just met there. She then realized that she was slowly falling in love with the place as well as with the man.Everything was great until the man that brought her peace also brought chaos in her life. Things had changed in an instant. She told herself that she would never return to the love-cursed island because doing so would reopen deep wounds she had been trying to heal.But it seems that destiny has other plans for the two. Little did they know, their existence is significant to the island's fate.

This story was featured in Watty Winner 2021 Romance Category,  so congratulations to the author. Indeed, the story deserves to be recognized, it brought comfort to the readers.  The story revolves only on how they met and how they started their  relationship. The story is fast-paced, but you can still feel the strong connection between them.

Sometimes you meet someone, and it's so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as something entirely different. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don't know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

They fell instantly the moment they laid eyes on each other in the island. Cai believes that she felt the strong feeling towards him and he feels the same thing. I don't know but I find Cai very impulsive in her decision, like he just met the guy and he confessed to her, she immediately accepted and even started a relationship with him without any hesitation. It was a little bit risky on her part since she's a public figure and she barely knew that guy. 

Imagine, nakilala mo lang sa isla at nakasama ng ilang araw, then you're willing to give your trust on him. But after she meet him, she changed. That's when everything in her life changes because this person made her realize she doesn't want to live without them or let them get away. She's willing to give up her career just to spend time with him.

But things doesn't go well when she discovered that Lincoln was engaged to another woman. He broke her trust and that scarred her. She decided to let him go and chase her dreams instead. She hated herself completely for trusting him. 

So the myth is true,  Relationship formed on this island bound to fall apart. She  promised herself not going back in this cursed island.

Medyo nainis ako sa part na to kay Lincoln kasi hindi nya sinabi ang totoo kay Cai. He said he was all over her ex but there's no closure between them. Dapat sana kinausap nya yung ex nya,. He should end things with her before he pursued Cai. 

Sometimes, you have to think a million times before you give yourself completely to someone, and don't invest too much feelings to the point that you didn't leave anything for yourself. 

Loving yourself first before you give love to others. Don't let anyone ruin your inner peace.
