Game Series #1: Play the Game
Plot:
Game Series # 1) For as long as Katherine could remember, Juan Alexandro Yuchengco has always been her dream guy. He's smart, kind, and could be funny when he wanted to... but the problem was, he never saw her as more than his sister's friend. And she's determined to change that. She followed him to law school. She made sure that he's aware of her presence... and thankfully, her efforts paid off. Finally, Jax was looking her way. But life is never simple. Life is a game. It's either you win or you lose. It's either you get it all or you lose it all. Kapag akala mong nandyan na, biglang mawawala pala. Kapag akala mong iyon na, may iba pa pala. But how will she play if all the cards are stacked against her?
Review:
Game Series really changed my perspectives about Law students. The struggles to become a Lawyer ika nga, you need to be mentally, emotionally and financially stable because when you are in Law School, kakainin ka ng depression and anxiety. In Law School, you need to sacrifice a lot of things, your time with your family and friends and your love life as well.
In case of Jax, he is always the dream guy for Kitty. She admired him for being smart and studious. But he doesn't feel the same way about her. She did everything to be noticed by him.
Medyo hesitant si Jax sa feelings nya pra kay Kitty since he doesn't want to be distracted. He admitted he is falling for her but he doesn't acknowledge it.
She let her fall for someone else. She let her fall for a wrong guy. I can't even imagine what hell she gone through dahil nagtiwala sya sa ibang lalaki. It was heart breaking for her! Her trauma and her failed relationships ruined her, but Jax promised to help her to be complete again. He's willing to defend her in everything until she's proven innocent.
Game Series #2: In love with the Game
Plot:
Game Series # 2) Aurora Marie Floresca just wanted to escape their house. Ever since her father re-married, palagi na silang nag-aaway dalawa. She wanted her father to be happy, of course, but not with that evil step-mother wannabe. She wanted happiness for her father, but definitely not with that woman... But unfortunately, the witch won. She managed to get her father to throw Rory out. She was forced to stay in Manila for the meantime. She didn't know what to do in Manila! Wala naman doon ang mga kaibigan niya. Wala siyang pamilya. The only consolation she got was the condo unit from her father--well, at least hindi naman yata gusto ng tatay niya na sa kalsada siya matulog. She'd probably get a job or study again, she wasn't sure yet, but she's certain that everything would be fine... until she realized that her next door neighbor would be keeping her up all night with all the banging against the wall.
Review:
Jusko mahabagin! Gagong Yago to. Rory is longing for peace but how can she be at peace kung palaging ungol sa Kabilang condo ang naririnig nya.
Her father doesn't want her anymore, she doesn't have any friends at nawalan din sya ng peace of mind dahil sa kabastusan ng kanyang neighbor. She met Yago, and unfortunately they are on the same class. Law School is like a living hell and if you want to survive, you need to interact. So she befriended Jax and Yago since they are both excellent and competitive to study.
But Yago is Yago, he managed his time to study and pleasure women which disgust her. She promised she won't fall for him and refused to be his victim of love but how can she avoid Yago when he got that oozing charisma and sex appeal?
Game Series #3 End the Game
Game Series # 3) Avery Brienne Eliseo never wanted the 'normal' life. Ever since she was born, she already knew that the life she'd lead would be far from what's normal... until her stupid cousin decided to 'protect' her by giving her a new life. But she wasn't stupid. She knew that one day, she'd have to go back to save his ass. She needed to make friends--powerful friends. She needed people who would be of help when she needs protection. And where would she find powerful friends? In law school. The students there are the future presidents, senators, and congressmen of the country. She needed to be friends with powerful people... And when she met Maven de Marco and learned that he's the most powerful one? She's determined to make him hers.
Review:
Ohhh Maven de Marco and his influence. Ewan ko I find him stiff and mysterious. Like He's the man with few words. He looks dignified and an influential person. People tend to be intimidated by the way he acts and carry himself.
Jusko sino ba naman hindi magugulat? Expensive ng mga De Marco. Anong inieexpect natin?
Game Series #4 Control the Game
Plot:
Game Series # 4) Charisse Faith Viste believes in working hard. She does not believe in luck, only hard work. Being the only girl in a family full of guys, nasanay na siya na kung gusto niyang makuha, kailangan niyang pagtrabahuhan. And because of this, she grew up tough. She already accepted the fact that guys are just too intimidated to even give her a second glance. She'll always be too smart, too confident, too much for everyone. One day, she had this overwhelming feeling of sadness. She looked around and saw that everyone around her has someone by their side... Everyone has someone to embrace... Siya? Libro lang ang kayakap. She used to be fine with the idea of being alone... alone, not lonely. But not anymore. She needed someone to stop her from feeling so lonely.
Review:
SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Basahin nyo to guys, napakaganda at interesting ng story.
Maldita. Intimidating. Di approachable. That's the impression that they always thought she is, but it doesn't bother her a bit. She pressured herself to be better in everything, but that made her feel lonely because she has no one to turned to. She doesn't have anyone in her side to rant about her struggles about her studies and her family as well.
Iñigo is an average law student, striving hard almost everyday to survive law school. He pursued everything without having any connection and wanted use his own ability to achieve that. However, when he met Charisse, he suddenly felt the connection between them. He became her constant anchor. He did everything to win her by staying in her side, making her feel less lonely.
Naging sandalan nila ang isa't isa, until they made it it through until they both achieve their dreams. I truly admired them for being there for each other, grabe yung strong foundation ng relationship nila. Their story made me realize that love isn't enough for the relationship to stay stronger, sometimes, you need faith and perseverance to withstand everything that comes in your way to fulfill your dreams together.
They both sacrificed everything to be a better version of themselves. I want that kind of relationship too.
